Bubble Brew is a game where you play as an alchemist trying to brew the best recipe and make maximum profit of it. To do that, mix at least three ingredients, keeping an eye on the three gauges: you must have maximum power, minimum toxicity and beware of the instability gauge connected to the cauldron, it might explode very fast! Also there are good and bad synergies, so pay attention to the ingredients sequencing.

We are pretty happy with this project, the second one we made for a game jam. Sadly, we didn’t manage to finish in time because of some unforeseen display bugs at the last minute that prevented the game to function correctly.
Otherwise, we didn’t incorporate every features we planned to do but there’s a sort of puzzle-oriented gameplay loop and sweet code, visuals and sounds. The real achievement with this one is a better estimation of the scope, especially compared to the first jam. We can still improve organization and stuff like that, time is short! We’ll see for the next one.
