Very fun idea! Gameplay was simple but fun, and you had some nice looking pixel art too. Although I don't get why a bee can't just fly over the gaps...

A nice boss fight and gorgeous sprite work! The mechanics are clear and the sound make sense! (I especially like the bear's roars). The music can get stale and movement is rather restricted by being so slow but it is overall a nice game!
Bonus for the descriptions and screenshots for each part of the game! Good work!

A good game! Had some confusion at first but later on I understand what to do.

Nice graphics and gameplay. One thing bugs me though: I get that you needed additional obstacles, but the whole thing of bees falling into holes doesn't make a lot of sense :D

the graphics are surpreme, really great style. The concept is also quite interesting, but it feels a little like a "just one boss fight game" still, really enjoyed this one.

This is a really nice polished game!
The graphics are cute and the sounds are awesome, especially when the the bear-borg roars.
The platforms are a little small and it's hard to tell if you're going to fall into the pit. But then again shouldn't the bee be able to fly?

I would've liked to have been able to directly attack the boss myself rather than refill stationry turrets.

Really liked this one. The limited color palette worked really well and the art is great. Very polished and nothing much to complain about. Definitely in my best games I've played list.

those are some buff bees, the difficultly spike is really well done as well.

Really cool art and sound design! Love the puns! The bear animation is really great, and the roar really gets you.

Gameplay could be a bit more varied, but the execution made it quite fun nonetheless! The idea of the floor breaking apart is interesting, but at random it sometimes made me get completely stuck in a tiny spot. I think this sort of thing would have benefited from a path check to see if the regions are still connected.

Having other ways to survive to interact with the bear and the weapons would allow the game to have more depth. But as it is it is a great entry for LD. Nice job!

Controls are smooth and pleasant, as said @papercypress the game is well balanced.
The bee animation is little bit too static, but the bear animation is impressive :clap:

Except for that, it was a really nice game! Love the visuals, the bear especially looks really cool! The game is fun to play, simple but efficient, really well balanced (I came very close to lose right at the end, but managed to win with my last lifepoint), well polished, I didn't ran into any bug... Would love to see it as a boss fight in a bigger game!

​Brilliant. Everyone loves a pun. And hexagons. Deforming scenery is cool. The retro sounds were great. The enemy was pretty mean, and the overall concept was pretty original. Very funny. Once I got into the rhythem of it, became easier. Perhaps as you deplete the big-bad's health there needs to be more escalation. Really good.
