It’s dangerous to go alone, good thing you brought your enchanted umbrella and raincoat. Use the mouse / analog stick to angle the umbrella upward, which will recharge your raincoat and portable beacon when exposed to rain. When fully charged, the beacon can be placed as a checkpoint along your lengthy journey. Aim the umbrella downwards to slide down slopes at a very high speed.

2) Fixed controller button mappings for Xbox and PS4 controllers which were previously inconsistent.

This game is cool and deserves some more attention! Put a screenshot up, get the game on itch, go the last mile. The fun of sliding down those hills sitting in the umbrella is worth it. I'm glad I downloaded this and gave it a shot.

Cool game, I like the simplicity of it all and holding the mouse cursor below to move the umbrella under the character to slide down slopes feels great

Wow that's a cool game. It isn't hard to understand. I like the graphics very much. I like the fact that you can slide with your umbrella :D

The game mechanic of sliding downhill while sitting in your umbrella is pretty genius. There was little time though to anticipate for the fire ball/obstacles.

Wheeee... I love the sliding mechanic! The theme unfortunately feels a bit shoehorned in and I'm not entirely sure why I only get wet by using an umbrella. oO
But the sliding action really makes me forget about those issues (until it comes to an abrupt end by a stray fire)

That was great! The umbrella sliding mechanic is super innovative, love it. Love the atmosphere as well, just wish there were some sound effects and music to compliment the nice visuals. Good work :) Also extra points for the "You Dried" joke

I liked the sliding mechanics a lot. The animations were super smooth too. Very impressive for a game jam. I didn't quite get what was going on with the dryness at first, but with a few tries I got it.

Really like the gameplay & visual style. It wasn't immediately obvious though that your health was recharged by putting the umbrella up. And sliding feels amazing, maybe zoom out the camera a bit to see where you're going (in function of sliding speed).

The game looked really nice, and had a good atmosphere, although it would have been even better with some audio. I couldn't quite work out the mechanics of losing health, recharging my raincoat, and making a beacon. For example, I felt like I was protecting myself from the fire with my umbrella but I was losing health when I did that. The sliding mechanics were fun and nicely animated, although wasn't that useful as you were incentivised to go slowly and carefully.

I very much enjoy the aesthetics. The graphics were simple but quite elegant. Especially the main character and the umbrella. The fire enemies not so much, but they did the job.
The umbrella mechanic was cool and sliding downhill was super fun.
A music track and sound effects for the clattering rain would have been very nice to improve the atmosphere even more.

I love the mood that gets set up with the rain and background details. Umbrella sliding is pretty great as well.
I feel like downloading a virus :P
