Super Snow Ball

Make this into a full game! Love the rolling sounds effects as well.

I really liked the mechanics in this game with the rolling snowball. I would suggest having the snowball reduce when also hitting a wall. It felt like I should get penalized for slamming into the side of a wall. Very fun game though! The last level took me quite a few tries. That last little jump got me so many times!

Good level design, stage 3 had me scratching my head as my snowball kept falling, until I figured it out.

Cool level designs. The concept is simple, but the levels made me actually think things through.

I found the jumping to be difficult to control, you might try casting a ray out of the bottom to determine if it's really close to the ground as bouncing right now is preventing jumping. Since you're using unity I'd consider doing a WebGL build and hosting it on something like itch.io (it's free, and porting to other platforms is allowed after the jam is done) as it makes it easier to play, and should make it easier to rate just make sure it still plays the same. Good game overall.

Really nifty idea, with a solid mechanic that nails the theme.
The Start text was hard to see against the background of the start screen, it would have been nice to have more contrast.
The snow particles coming off the ball and the cute little face on him were nice subtle touches that really added to the game experience. Overall, really good job!

Oh man I wish there were more levels! I like the puzzle-aspects to the game at the later levels and overall I really like the snowball mechanic! What a fun entry, I enjoyed myself playing this!! Great job!

Cool platformer. The game mechanic is interesting. It would be interesting if not only the player would need to make the snowman body, but also got scored based on the size of the snowball. Good game!

That was really fun! It's extremely impressive how well designed this game is. The last level was especially well made. I thought I could cheat by building up snow in the beginning, but then I couldn't make the jump! I thought I could maintain my size by dropping through middle of the slanted grass slopes towards the right of the map, avoiding the grass, but the fall killed me!

It felt like I was playing a full polished game, and I was kind of disappointed when it ended. Great job making such a solid game in time for the jam. I'm surprised you guys don't have more ratings, this is a hidden gem!
