Unstable Concoction

The art and music are really wonderful. I like addition of spoken lines. I'm not sure I ever understood how to actually play the game, but I had a good time watching all the cute pixel ingredients fly around

This is really cool! I love the humour, the pixel art aesthetic is great, the frantic rush to shove everything in the couldren before the time runs out and while things are flying around the screen feels really fun and just the sort of quick and fun gameplay you really are looking for out of an LDJam project! If I had to suggest something it would of been to make maybe a little sign with the ingredients on in order to make the objective a little clearer as I missed the text in the corner at first and just wasn't sure what I needed to be doing. But that really is just a nitpick, I'm obsessed with the idea of a potion that is 5 rocks and some water!

this is really fun and addicting, however I think there should be a penalty for accidentally putting the wrong things into the cauldron

Really cool voice acting there! The game was pretty fun, but it would be great to have a bit more control — a few times I managed to throw an ingredient from the shelf straight into the cauldron, and it felt so good. Also, the ingredient list should be much more visible. It got obscured by the vine at some point, so I had to carry on guessing the ingredients. Overall, fun time!

Games with cauldrons ftw! Not sure I fully understood the rules though but I was still having a great time trying to lob ingredients in and wondering why everything was suddenly bread :D

I died at 145$ and it was kinda frustrating because I didn't even know you could die. I would have loved to complete it but the 150$ goal is just too high in my opinion. I feel like it overstays it's welcome a bit. Maybe drop the price down to 100 so it doesn't take as long. And please communicate the health of the player.
