You must stabilize a reaction by searching for the reagents. They come as a random result and can grant energy or reagents. Red matter destabilizes the reaction, blue matter stabilizes it. When 3+ batteries are found, you enter the overcharged mode where you can try to find blue matter only, if you expend more energy you can triple your winnings.

This game was meant to compo, but due the lack of time it is going to the jam event :)
Seems bad, but there is a long time since I am able to deliver a "complete" game to a jam event, therefore, I am happy with the result :D

I don't think I got much control over the results of the search of the matter, during the slots and during the bonus round, maybe I missed something?

Nevertheless, being able to finish a game and deliver it all by yourself is quite a feat :smile:

@froissant you have little control, it is based in a slots kind of game :P You are right :)
I added some choices, but due the lack of time I was unable to move too far from what you've seen :/

i think that combining gambling and stabilizing reactions is super original. I would have liked to have a bit more depth when making decisions, but on the contrary, it is a fast and addictive game. cool.

@javicoder I tried to keep under the market directives, where the player has less control so the companies can handle better the math, but yes, having more control in slots games would make them more interesting (see the coin master, where you have at least the impression that you have control) :P

I would like to have more freedom as a player. I felt like there is only little I can do to increase my chance of winning. But overall it was an interesting idea. Good job :)

@spidd tnx for the feedback :) One of my goals as a GD in this gambling industry is to bring more meaningful choices to players :) but the old folks dropping coins in the machine nowadays are trilled with just the reel movement :/

Was a fine game but I felt like I just kept pressing the button and hoped for a better result. I get that it's a slot machine but without much reward for me pushing the button it waas difficult to maintain attention. Otherwise it was a reall good concept. Can't wait to see what you do next time.

I don’t normally like puzzle games, but this game had so many levels that felt like there were so many different ways to solve it. Really fun and creative.

I would've liked a bit more say in whether or not you got the blue matter, maybe give some clues in your slots about the placement of the matter. That'd make you really pay attention to the results in the grid and keep players engaged.

The music was awesome!

The gameplay was not up to that. I didn't feel (and I think was) in control of anything.

I'm not a guy who like so much things on what I have no control (or maybe I missed something ? This is full random, isnt it ?) But the music is really awesome ! (and I support you, this is my first game jam solo, and I know when time is running out and vanish expected features :sob: )

@malcolm You have little to no control on slots games :P that's the magic of them :/ @simonl you have very little control if you reach the bonus game, where you can choose to gamble the chance (20%) of finding the blue matter and win more. @loiclegrosfrere I know the feeling, one of my goals in this industry is try to give players a bit more freedom, but, from what i've seen, they do not want to hahahha :P

The only thing i liked is music. It's really good. Actually i hate games the rely on random, and this is a game that do exeactly that i hate. Also text labels at the start has default text. And, as i can see you used unity default's background texture in the bar. You should work on design a bit more next time.
