You are tasked by an injured Magus to take powerful magic gloves to the ArchMagus, before the Shadows and Bandits can take it for themselves. But, the magic is powerful, and you are but a farm hand. Should you try and use the magic to defend yourself, it will be highly volatile, who knows how it will behave.
