Lots of satellites in orbit - make sure they stay up there! Take control as a satellite traffic controller and adjust the ever changing orbits of your satellites. React quickly when a collision might happen, and decide if you can spend the fuel for a course correction. And if a collision does occur, watch the debris!
Click and drag to rotate the globe. Select an active satellite to bring up the navigation controls, allowing you to burn fuel to change course. New satellites are constantly launched. The game ends if all satellites are destroyed.
Notes for reviewers:
I did not quite finish it during the contest - some UI issues that I couldn't resolve. So while you can spin the globe and watch the action unfold, you can't actually control anything... Would have needed another few hours in the end, but I might finish later.
Music and Sound are licensed from a third party and not part of the contest.
The Earth texture is adapted from NASA's 'Blue Marble' series of images.
All other assets and code have been created from scratch for the contest, during the duration of the contest.
Tools used:
Unity 2020.3.9f1
Blender 2.91.2
GIMP 2.10.28
Pixelmator 3.9.8 Classic
