In >> Wurst Angst Apple Joy << we tried to explore the pitfalls and benefits of an unstable mind. Taking on the video game trope of switching between dimensions we imagined a protagonist that constantly switches between two personalities. A manic, insufferably positive, distracted extrovert and a severely depressive, melancholic but also empathic introvert. Solving Quests by using the proper personality at the proper time.
The personalities would not only see a different world but also a different dialog. Even though the content is technically the same, their change in perspective would bar them from even seeing the proper answer.
we’re inviting the players to explore the short dialog and compare how every encounter is changed, based on the personality and enjoy the often ridiculous contrast.
