Bath Time
In this Western in-browser thriller, you play as Slippin' Slidin' Sammy Two Shoes in his quest to maintain his dignity and honor as a cowboy. Your mission is simple - avoid the oncoming bathtubs and soap bars! The more you avoid, the more come your way - and the FASTER they come! How long can you stave off a scrubbin'?
All assets minus music are made from scratch in the time frame of the game-jam.

I will say it starts a bit slow, but it does get pretty intense later on. I liked the ragdoll animations though, as well as the cinematic cover art

This was a lot of fun to play! You hit the theme down well, your art looks great, and the controls are solid! If there is anything I would suggest to make it better, it's go big on the difficulty! I think it can get hard a little faster than it did, giving the game a more frantic and fast pace!

Once I realized what this game was, I specifically tested how compromising the hitbox would be to my dignity and was definitely able to leave both shoes out of the reach of soap and bath at least! That's a victory right? Maybe?

Really funny and straightforward. I was nervous at first not knowing what the controls were but I figured it out. I could see myself playing this on my phone just to kill a few minutes here or there. Well done!

I avoided 491 baths until I hit a soap bar. It's Salvador Dali meets John Wayne in a pretty hilarious simplistic western-themed endless runner. Good graphics, perfect music. Controls a bit floaty. Should have called it "Dry Noon". Heh.

Really funny twist on the theme! I love the bouncing hat. 116 avoided baths here, not as good as others but I'm still satisfied

At first, I was like psh, this is easy. Turns out I was wrong :laughing: I was close lined by the soap! I really liked the idea of this game and the 2d art!

haha I love the idea of avoiding as scrubbin'. Great work! I think a trail color / material would make it easier to see where the edge is on the path. Overall, I thought the environment was well made.

The humor is top notch, and the graphics are exceptionally great! All the details in the background like the cacti and bushes are easy to overlook, but I can tell a lot of effort went into making them, and it paid off! The music is great, and I love the bit about no self-respecting cowboy ever taking a bath. ha! I wish when you lost, your cowboy would scream "Ahhh!" or something, but the ragdolling was equally as funny. Great job!

Very clever twist on the theme. Would've been funny if the baths and soap bars eventually start homing in on you. I've managed to avoid 384 baths.

As others pointed out: very original and funny take on the theme! :-P
Some improvement points (my point of view):
- The difficulty increase seemed a bit too slow for me.
- Sometimes it was hard to tell if the cowboy would avoid a bath or collide with it.
- I missed some in-game instructions but the game is simple enough for this to be a big issue.
- Missing SFX.
On the good side: I loved the atmosphere! Nice song selection and the graphics were lovely. The gameplay also did invite to replay it.

The game looks and sounds pretty slick! The gameplay is a bit standard, could look for some choices for the player or an extra action to increase speed or tension. Maybe a pistol to shoot the bath tubs?
