My take on this theme was to defend your position of CEO at a corporation against a group of board members who want you gone. Company Calamity is a rogue-lite survival managment sim, you need to manage factories, take contracts, and get sued out the ass, all to keep a short tempered board of directives happy.
This is my first real attempt at creating a game at all and having to do everything in 72 was a real challenge but a lot of fun, and I think I've managed to make something that, although it's ugly, is still at least a proof of concept and clearly portrays my take on the theme.

First of all, congratulations on your first game ! Thats a huge milestone and I hope you look at it pridefully. This is really good considering its your first and you made it under time-pressure. I really enjoy the idea of the different board-mambers all having their own personallities and likes and dislikes that you need to cater too to stay within your condition, I think you really executed well on thta. But I really wish there were a bit more of a tutorialisation in there. Its really hard in the beginning to wrap your head around all the spinning mechanisms, especially in such a mechanically compplex game.

But as I said, thats just a minor nitpick, I really like this, good job!

I love these types of games. Good job on creating your first game and participating in your first Ludum Dare!

I agree with the previous comment that it could use some more instructions. I wasn't really sure what the goal was.

I know you were trying to fit a lot of info on the screen at once, but a portion of it was cut off for me and I had to scroll to the right. Something to think about for your next game!
