Darkness is inevitable

I don't know if there is a bug or what because I can neither light my torch nor pick up logs(I succeeded once and it never worked again)

The concept is interesting but the execution isn't the best. The controls are weird (the player should be able to pick up the logs when colliding with them). It's hard to play while being in the dark as you can't see anything but the monster. You can escape from the enemy by running diagonally (the player runs faster diagonally so be sure to normalize that vector). It's an alright game but it would be much better for the controls to be changed to something more reliable. :)

You have a really interesting concept here. It's a bit simplistic right now but I'd love to see this polished - a bit more structure and it could be a fantastic horror experience.
Main complaint right now is that the logs are pretty hard to see (I realise this is intentional to an extent, but the balance is just a bit off for me)
The shadow monster is very spooky, I love it

It'd be nice if there were some more logs close by to start out. There were only two that were near me and then I had to go realllly far to get more.

Other than that this game is pretty good. The art looks nice, I love the lighting, the sound is a nice touch. Good game!

I liked the concept quite a bit. Took me a couple of runs to get the hang of it but once I did it was quite pleasant. I kept trying to get on log in the fire with another sitting right next to it, then light my torch and go hunting for more. Seemed to work okay until I got lost. Well done on your submission!

The game doesn't work well on Opera, so I tested on chrome and it worked ok :P just to let you know!
So I like the overall idea but it was hard to find wood after a while, :p maybe the player could carry a torch or something like that. Overall good job :D

I like the mood and the enemy in the dark! It fits the theme well.

The darkness surrounding a bonfire looks awesome.

This is a neat concept and I really enjoyed playing the game. I would have probably benefitted from collision with log meaning picking up log cause I was very bad at picking up logs.
I ended up getting distracted though from the main mission and I kept trying to make friends with the beastie...

I think it's safe to say that it was a fulfilling relationship, for the beast.

Cool game idea. I like the concept because fire eventually dies out and need to continue to fuel it. Would be cool if there was a timer so you can have something like a leader board. The are being blocky or voxel might be because of lack artist in your team which I assume was done by one person. The lack of music background was a good decision because you only hear is the fire. This cause a good spooky atmosphere that effects the mood. Good job

The mood is good, but to be honest, it would be to better to make finding log more strategy instead of just hanging around
