An interesting way to implement movement puzzles. Took me some time to get used to it. Level design look cool, finding the shortest way around the obstacles was fun. Camera shake(?) could have implemented better, it is somewhat disturbing, for me at least. Text was hard to read at most places, some simpler font might have been used.
Very funny take on the theme. I like how the gameplay elements are taught through the levels. The graphics look great. I think adding some music would be great.
this beautiful story really spoke to me. it widened my eyes for the bigger picture and allowed me to truly see the beauty behind life and the universe.
I feel like a whole new person after playing this wonderful game. The sweet sounds, the mind-challenging puzzles, and the thought-provoking story all forms together in a fantastic bundle of absolute joy. This game is amazing.
I made it to the end, and you're telling me the toilet is OCCUPIED?! I guess I should have seen that coming. Liked the concept and the sound effect for the diarrhea. Good job!
Fun puzzle game, I like the way the seats work into the solution. The SFX were a little loud and the repeated clicking sounded more like a plastic toy popping than a train going along tracks. Though I knew what you were going for, so in a way it still works. Overall I think this is a clever entry and interesting use of the theme.
A deceptively fun puzzle game dressed up as a silly game about defecating in your pants. Liked the graphics and the level design was challenging without being too difficult. The sound was a little lacking with missed opportunities for a whole assortment of fart noises.
Overall, this was a great game for the whole family.
@bearding8 Most of the effects our team use end up being household objects or someone making it with their mouth similar to the way you did. I actually think it's really fun to find weirdly specific objects that make the perfect noise we're looking for. It's a little risky, but searching for royalty free sounds can help if you're looking for something super specific that you can't make with household objects. Sometimes the website Humble Bundle will have music/sound packs that can be purchased to create music or SFX with. I think the last bundle they sold also came with editing software, but I can't remember what it was.
As far as software I personally use Audacity and for our LD50 game our audio guy also used FL Studio.
a very cute little game! i think a really fun change would be to make the poo meter slowly fill up over time, to give a sense of urgency, and force the player to solve each puzzle on a time limit! and it would feel more grounded given the premise of the game (i was actually surprised the meter didn't fill up on its own), to add an additional challenge!
i think the puzzle / level design was well done, it wasn't super intuitive at first that you could scooch through seats vertically but not horizontally, i just assumed they were also impassable objects, until i was forced to b the level design, so good job in teaching that mechanic through gameplay.
