Desert trip

Can you just put the link to executable file? You sent your entire folder, I don't even know where the game is

I'm afraid it wouldn't run properly on my laptop. possibly too heavy

It would be good if there were some indicators in the environment that help the player know where they are going, i like the sounds

Im sorry, the upbge 0.3 player is big (195MB), i am going to make another build in other version that is smaller, thanks for telling me

It's pretty cool to see a game made with blender here, but the game is pretty lacking. It's not terrible, but I do wish there was more to do.

First game I saw that was made with Blender! The cutscene worked, and the game did start, but I could only see the UI, not the desert. Unfortunately, because I was really interested to see the game.

Download the game but unfortunately you can't play it, maybe it's too heavy for my notebook. Maybe if you uploaded it to itch.io for example, more people could try it and give you better feedback, thank u so much!

Sorry mate but the game doesn't work. it boots in eventually but all i get is a blank skybox and some sfx.

game loaded and I saw the opening cutscene but nothing rendered when I stared the game other than the ui. from what i saw it looked good. hope you can figure out whats going on

Funny game! Also a bit spooky, there was a definite ambiance to the strange environment, the slow movement, and the panting. I don't even know how you cajoled blender into a full-fledged game. Nice job!

Funny sounds, inevitably crashes.

The game loaded very slowly, but when I loaded it I couldn't see anything unfortunately. I liked the animations on the main menu at least.

I managed to glitch myself out and back into the map. I must have been to drunk I guess. Not sure if it was intended but i was carrying 150+ beers on me from the hot air balloon as I kept interacting with it. Also would have been a lot more readable if the text that appeared in game did not have shadows.

Interesting and the use of Blender in this way is rare, but overall not a very stable game.

I have versions of blender 2.8 and 3.0, but the game is not playable.

@egor010121 You don't need any version of blender, the exe is the green icon, you can't run it with blender, the game is playable but not in all computers because is not optimazed

I tried running it, but when the game started, I could only see the hydration meter and the skybox, no characters, items, or the ground.

@sheldonzs Im sorry, I am making other with a old version of upbge that is more stable and lighter but maybe is to late, some people can played, maybe is to heavy

Really a cool , artistic feeling game, love the clip space and the endless of the desert, and the trip but not car! cool and the audio effect is amazing ! surrealism style !

I've tried the game, sadly it wont start. Therefore no rating as of yet.

Let me know if you update it, I'd like to give it a try.
Sadly, Windows doesn't provide a error log, simply "AppCrash" for blenderplayer.exe (Version 3)

@xparker the blender player is not the exe, is the green icon "desert trip"

Ran on a different machine now.

Cool, nice desert environment! I like the models. Pretty bare bones on game mechanics, but it looks like a good base for something!

Liked the desert alot, though the game does feel a bit too shallow. But still, good game!
