Don't burn my Nugget

Lovely game! I wasn't very good at it and the physics felt a bit wonky sometimes (had to refresh after the game stopped giving me speed at the start and just kept giving me a game over), but it was fun! Got to see a bit of the second area, at least. Keep it up!

Similar to Alto's Adventures, but the gameplay in this one is different and harder in a good way. Very challenging, but also addictive skateboard-game!

Made it down the volcano, with some sweet sweet flips. Didn't really get to manoeuvrer myself to different platforms of my choosing, but you make it down after a few tries. The game looks and sounds good, though wasn't really sure I was getting more speed when doing flips, maybe some indication when you do would have been nice. I enjoyed my ride!

I'm really bad at this game :D but it was fun! I thouroughly enjoyed the smooth animations and the presentation in general. Controls felt good as well! Good job!

Very pretty art style and great atmosphere! The game is very difficult though, I could only ever make it a few hundred meters without landing on my face or running out of speed!

Reminds me of the Alto games on iOS, but much more difficult to master. Controlling the jumps feels really good, as does nailing a landing after doing a bunch of flips.

Fantastic art in this one. Sound is really good as well, the intro screen sounds gave me that ASMR feeling - wonderful stuff.

Wish nugget didn't have to die though 😭

I really enjoyed this game, it was pretty, and had nice sounds and I played it for a while. I honestly wasn't very good at it, but I did find that just keeping my hands off the keyboard every once in a while, I would just continue down the course fine. I also found there to be a couple jumps where there was an off-screen floating rock that it would cause me to run into, maybe that was on purpose and I am suppose to remember, but it didn't feel great running into something that I had no control over after doing well for a bit. Also the death screen with nugget getting squished is very funny. Nice job

Very fun game with an nice addition to the existing genre with the little particles to delay the eruption, only downside, the character doesn't match the artistict direction of the whole game and feel a bit out of touch, still, the game is still immersive and beautiful

i dont understand how to control this game, or what A and D do, but it looks nice and has some good animation.

Nice Alto hommage, but the platforms and the physics are hard to deal with a bit frustrating.

Beautiful art! Nugget is so cute! One thing I would have liked is to be able to restart with a key instead of switching to the mouse so I could get going again faster. It took me a long time to get past the first 57m, since I always smashed my head into the first raised platform after the first jump, so it would be nice if the beginning was a bit more forgiving.

Aaaw! Nugget is so cute! Makes me want to become better at the game so I don't kill him. :sob:

This game is winning the art category, hands down haha. Basically everything was perfect, except, I don't know if it would be considered level design? I felt like I had no agency to control where I'd go next. Just a 50/50 guess of should I jump or don't jump, and hope for the best.

Maybe camera seeing farther ahead would help?

Honestly, the audiovisual layer is probably my favorite in this jam as of yet. The only complaint would be that some things (mainly the skateboard) aren't visible in front of dark backgrounds. But I got used to it. The gameplay was pretty cool, but too hard for me, my doggie is resting in peace right now. I like the idea of dying from loosing speed, and it fits the whole theme well. Awesome submission!

This game is quite fun to play but feel a bit controless with increasing speed and sometime your awesome double backflip trip and up sadly on a wall stopping you here waiting for death to come :p. Anyway a fun runner game with cool tricks possibility ! Keep coding !

This game looks amazing! Nuggets is really cute and the aesthetic of the world is great. I agree with some of the others that efficiently controlling the character seems quite difficult. But doing flips to gain momentum (or not doing them to not get too fast) is a really cool mechanic and it seems like the level you have made is also really long. I also quite liked the music. Good job!
