Really cozy game with LOADS of gameplay. Nice messaging system and I liked the individual characteristics for each character such as Fia able to fit into small places. Loved it.

Woaah this feels super polished, super original idea, the art style is top notch and the audio too!!. It'll be nice to have a leaderboard!! Really great job, the most original I've seen so far, Congrats to the team!!

Wow! This is a really great game. All the art is extremely good and it is a very creative concept. I love the typing effect with the messages. Overall, really a great game.

This is a really fund game, I lost a few times because mom spawned between me and my only possible path out; After a few tries though I ended up in the multi-thousands score zone. The music is SO GOOD! I could listen to that on repeat, thanks for letting me play!

Really good game! Sometimes your mom can just kind of spawn on top of you, but besides that I thought it was a cool game!

Really geat game ! The art is just amazing ( the Celeste inspired characters vignette look particularly great ), and the atmosphere too, it really fits this vibe of late summer night. The musics really help building that feeling too. The story elements and easter eggs around the map were great, and it is a very interesting take on the theme, the last time seeing his close friends before adulthood. Also the gameplay is fun and the movement satisfying.

Overall, a beautiful experience.

Mooooom! Love how much character is expressed through the portraits. The little animated details, the rpg style, and the shader effects; it all really works and really hits the nostalgia. Great use of the theme. Thanks for the gorgeous little game!

Really enjoyed it! The various powers gave it a zelda like feel.

Really cute game! The art really brought everything together in this one, I loved the dialog between the characters. :) Would love to see more things to do and a proper ending (unless this is achieved by waiting until 6:00?)

Very polished presentation. This felt like a fully realized game and not just something slapped together in a few days. The game felt really good to play and the music was awesome. Very relaxing and easy to listen- perfect background music!

The only issue I would say is that it seemed a bit harsh to die after one hit from any of your friends. I didn't get to play quite as long as I would have liked either time I played through it.

Really solid entry overall, one of my personal favorites that I've tried so far. Gave me really good vibes.

I like the idea and how demonic your mom looks. Quite amusing. Two potential changes should you continue to work on it. First is to pause the time when in dialogue. Second is to not have a game over when your friends get hit. Not huge deals overall. Good work though. I like it!

I recorded myself playing, message me on the Jam’s discord @ Dark Peace and I’ll send it to you. I got some bugs but it wasn't annoying, just amusing. The only bad thing is the mother just traversing the screen at hyperspeed. There's no way to avoid her when you have a full party.

I love the graphics, particularly the char playing prompts, feels like the ones in Celeste.
I went very far into the dark and could not go back, but found this cute little house

I also loved the old guy by the lake (not sure it is a lake)

A super solid submission, feel like there's a bunch to explore here! gameplay is smooth, dialog is fun and it has a great balance between making me want to explore more and making me fear the mom and hide. Loved it!

The art in this game is cute, the mom looks like celeste's mom, i assume that's on purpose?

I tried playing it a couple of times but every time got killed by mom before i managed to get all 4 characters, and got frustrated from dying and not being able to skip dialogue.
Mom's hitbox felt very large/multiple character party's hitbox felt very large, so I always died just after getting the 2nd/3rd character.

Looks like it could have a lot going for it, I like what I saw, with the funny dialogues with your friends, earnest dialogue with the fisherman, cute graphics, nice mood, but i just couldn't keep going :/

Cute graphics, music and story! I like the way the dialogs serve as tutorial and to convey the story. I like how you have to use different characters to get in buildings

The controls felt smooth, but I don't really see the point in having to sometimes press the C key vs the X key especially because sometimes the UI is hidden. Also as a QWERTZ use it would be nice if you also accept Y as a Z input :)

As previously noted, having to start all over again after being hit by mom is a bit harsh. Somehow I wasn't able to skip the tutorial. But at least that makes the player really fear mom :smile:

Oh wow the graphics really sold me on this, I really enjoy the atmosphere. It has an interesting setting and exploring the town feels fun too. It's a little difficult to complete the game as I'm not sure where to go after getting all the friends or if I only have to survive till 6am. I also lose almost as soon as I get the last character because it's hard to dodge mom :laughing:
I also enjoy the little story told through the dialogues, like everyone said, it's cozy XD

This was a cool entry. Loved the graphics. Dialogue and characters were cool and interesting. Interesting take on the them. Glad I got to play it.

I got stuck when exiting a window and a dialogue popped up. I couldn't proceed in the conversation because I kept entering the building instead.

Wow, this is a chunky little adventure! Usually with these types of games I don't expect much content, but wow, I was amazed!

I had a few little gripes with it though. For example, time passes even during the dialogue, which makes it easier to cheese time till 6 AM. I also didn't like how abruptly mom would show up, but I guess that's kinda the point, so I can't be really mad about it! :d

Not much else to complain about, this is a solid good time. Well done!
