Gladiator Graveyard

Nice game, I especially liked the visuals and the story. Some suggestions:
* Let the game restart from the game scene, not the main menu
* Dashing with right click would be easier than shift key

Ok as a pixel art fan i just love this one! Will play the game a little more to give a better review - but already like what i played so far!

I liked the story of the game, but the ai's catch me so fast, which made it a little difficult for me to play :)

Art is great and overall it feels really polished - sometimes the mouse cursor gets lost in the sand and I forget where I'm aiming exactly. Got to 77 seconds!

(also not to dismiss the other guy's claims but I found pressing shift to dash perfectly natural for me)

Amazing game, played it a lot!
Everything works really well together, my biggest gripe is the lack of sound effects, otherwise everything else is great!

My kinda game! nice work! I'm trying to think of feedback.. I got nothing though it was fun to play and stream. I especially was impressed by the near death mechanic you implemented.

It was fun! I think i would have enjoyed it much much more if i could dash with more ease. The shift - dash with my pinky was hard. Other than that a solid experience with cool graphics and stressful music. I would love to see a refined version of it. Btw the camera wobble while attack is very enjoyable.

Audio really makes you pump up and slow motion was a great idea. Nice entry! PS doesn't work on firefox. Consider information like "recommended to play on Chrome".

A really fun fast-paced game! Very cute visuals and a fitting, adrenaline-pumping music. As other have said the story really slows down the game between deaths, but other than that, nice work!

Really amazing game! I got to 85 seconds after a couple of tries. Dash on space bar or right click would probably be better and an online leaderboard would be amazing. Other than that, really well done!

This was a pretty straightforward entry, with nice graphics and a few really slick polish touches. I really like the way the game highlights "near death" experiences by slowing down and greying out when an arrow approaches. I think this creates wonderful moments of tension and gives the player a slight boost in agency.

I thought the music was sufficiently high-energy but didn't really match the setting. Outside of this, the general sense of feedback was clear and fun to play.

This was well done, the only gripe I can come up with is that you bound dash to shift, my pinky is very bad at coordinated/fast presses.

hey folks. Nice entry here. I liked the visuals and the color palette. This is a weird music choice for a medieval themed game but goes really well with the pace of the game.

As for design choices, it's really fun to knock back arrows with arrows. I didn't feel like dashing much, the character move speed is already high enough. Using the obstacles as a cover is clever. I'm not sure about the slowmo thing. It felt good at the beginning but then I started to feel like, it happens a lot and kills the pace.

Nice intense gameplay.

I like the music slowdown effect on death but I wish it would stop after a few seconds. If you sit on the menu it's really painful.

Quite fitting music, makes you realize you should be quicker :smile: This kind of purple UI doesn't really fit in here. I really liked that slowmo when an arrow was near you & pixel-art, nice entry :smile:
