Manpowered spaceship
In the year of 21XX, the human civilization was partially damaged by their own sins again, as repeatedly happened in their history.
After their Cold War III and the Cultural Revolution 3.0, no one can afford anything burnable anymore, including paper, wood, chocolate, and the fuel that is required by a spaceship. Luckily, human developed new technology that let things fly without burning anything.
In order to control the sin(or They call population in their more scientific tone) overgrowth on the Earth, thanks to the techs, They no longer need to set up another uncontrollable pandemic, world war or famine. Instead, They forced the mega churches, grand temples, and the super techs...whatever people believed in, to unite together, and invented the Man-Powered Quantum Time Compression Leverage Engine, which enabled the spaceship to fly with the very little strength used as pressing a button.
YOU, the holy captain, the only crew who is irreplaceable by AI on the huge spaceship, will lead millions of population to a planet that is told to be similar but with slightly better climate than the Earth.
Your responsibility is just to push the button at the right time.
Your sacrifice is being locked in the pilot's seat and experiencing the inevitable boredom for the rest of your life.
But remember, you are not only generating power, food and water, but also, more importantly someway, you are providing hope for the millions of sinners in the passenger seats.
