the controls were really difficult here to use. a simpler setup would be to use left and right turn camera, and forward roll the ball in the forward basis direction. then back roll ball back.
Thanks for the feedback. I can see the difficulty caused by unorthodox controls. I wanted to have 90 degree turns only. Next time, I'll add explicit control instructions.
Solid entry for a first time jammer. The camera controls were a bit weird at first but once I realized it was a 90-degree turn it made more sense. If you can communicate that to the player in some way it would help a lot. Maybe having an indicator at the front of the ball to show direction, and having a camera angle that is more top down so moving doesn't disorient as much. I would also extend the colliders on the white balls to be the whole hallway that they are in. Since movement is locked to 90 degree increments sometimes its hard to grab them if you dont turn EXACTLY in middle of the hallway. All in all though you should feel super proud of doing this in 72 hours
