ONE MIN FLY is a small game for LD50, inspired by *One Minute Fly* animation by *Michael Reichert*. In this game we play a fly who has a ~~not very~~ long list of things to do before death, and only 60 seconds to live. It seems impossible to check all of the goals in one’s lifetime. However it can mate with other flies and create descendants, so the goals can be fulfilled by them. Can it live life to its fullest or should it leave unfinished jobs to its descendants? How many generations does it take to live a full life? :D

Controls

The game is played with a keyboard, using `arrow` keys along with `F`, `T`.
You can move the fly around with `arrow` keys, use `F` to interact with intractable objects, and hold `T` to check the list of goals. You can also press `H` to view a Help menu.

- Game is made with unity.
- We used LDtk for 2D map.
- Music on the main menu is *Flight of the Bumblebee* by *Rimsky Korsakov*.

Cool Game. Liked the mood and the idea. You also get quite a few retries and multiple pickup places for the life goals :) Didn't run into any issues, works like a charm.

Funny game! I loved the amazing pixelart. I really appreciated the fact, that you added a good tutorial screen! It took me some time to find the cool kids which was the last task on my to do list. But in the end I managed to complete it :)
One thing I didn't understand was, what digging into the trash piles did. I got some poop-coins but didn't know what I could use them for.

The coins was to give to party bouncer to let you in the party, the mistake was we put it before the party so you already had them when arrived at the party, we should have put party first to search for coins later.

Really nice idea and neat implementation! Graphics, sounds and music feel just right! It's unfortunate, that the guitar sample is so short and don't loop smoothly.
As a comment: controls F and T don't seem intuitive for me and I forgot them all the time.

@fjlucas Has a small learning curve, good features for prototyping, and in my opinion more handy than Tiled. I used "LDtk to Unity" package to import it, had some small problems with it, but there is more packages and also API documentation for this. worked just fine for us for this LudumDare.

Neat game. I managed to fulfill all my goals after 4 generations. The animations were really well done but the tiles in the world sometimes don't line up completely, showing some "cracks" between them. It would have been cool if spawning in other locations would have actually been necessary for some goals; as is I was able to finish the game by always starting from the first flower. But the mechanics are still really fun. Good job!
