*Snooze your alarm to delay waking up from your nice dream...But the more you snooze, the more you risk your dream turning into a nightmare...*

The idea for this game was to represent a person dreaming and not wanting to wake up when their alarm rings. Instead, they keep snoozing their alarm but their dream slowly turns more and more nightmarish... Eventually though, we all wake up from our nightmares.

The game has 5 levels and is playable in about 10 minutes.

Controls:

Arrow keys - Move

Spacebar/Up - Jump

Fantastic game! Cute art and graphics (at least until the final stage), decently difficult platforming, very fun to play, music choice was very good, great progression from a dream to a nightmare. I really enjoyed the spin on the theme. Great work!

Great little game. I think you can do something with the water when the distance is closer to you slow down the water and if its to away speed it up. In moments I was so ahead there was no reason to keep playing, if you make it to be more in the level with me and pressure me but not kill me if I do one mistake. The player will feel great if he manage to escape the water more often. Great project you can expand.

Good job! Fantastic art and level progression (in both difficulty and theme). I really like the ability to double jump as it makes up for the platforms spawning in difficult configurations sometimes.

Love the atmosphere you have created (I expect nothing less from the creator of Project Kat!). Really like the art style and I did not expect the game to become so spooky at the end there! I thoroughly enjoyed playing it.

I actually found the game on itch.io first and I didn't notice the screenshots of the cutscenes. What a surprise when that snooze alarm went off! Loved the art and design, great job.

I played this game and I loved:
- Being tricked into thinking it's just a doddle jump game, and then the alarm clock rang...
- Genuinely wanting to know what's next after that
- Making my spacebar key almost die

I could as well be good without:
- Failing jumps thanks to pixel perfect collisions

@shieldgenerator7 Although we didn't want to clutter such a small game with a settings menu, you can technically change it to WASD if you create a file called `engine.cfg` in the `%APPDATA%\Tamaghost Jump` folder with the following content:

input/profile="wasd"
```

The in-game prompts won't change though, and the "snooze" key will become Esc :)

Great music and aesthetic! The calm piano music was unnerving in this context. Gameplay was smooth but occasionally unforgiving; I found it frustrating at times... those moving platforms destroyed me. I like the shift into weirdness, but wanted it to get a little weirder a little sooner.

I have played up to level 4. At first I thought it was an endless scrolling game. The first levels are cute, the fourth is scary. The music is nice.

Really clever use of the theme! I love the creepy aesthetic that builds over time. The gameplay starts out a bit dull, but things pick up when you get a few levels in. I will say that I didn't realize you have a double jump until level 3 or 4, so the first few levels were probably a lot slower for me then they're supposed to be. Regardless, I had fun with this submission. Nice work!

Astoundingly cute in its look and feel, but gets the spooky vibes right as well! Thoroughly polished aesthetically and the theme is represented quite well. Gameplay-wise, the jump arc is a bit hard to get used to and even some early jumps are perhaps unnecessarily tricky, but I enjoyed it a lot overall -- will recommend.

Great game! Love the art and cute feeling of it all. Could use coyote jump or a jump buffer, since some platforms are a bit tricky to use. Took me a while to realize you can double jump, which made things much easier!
