Eat Your Mushrooms

I completed it! really fun game. Was a cool take, trying to balance between finding mushrooms & getting more xp. There was a lot of lag by time I got to the end, think it helped me win xD Also noticed that I could skip eating a mushrooms to get some health back. Great job!

Like the take on vampire survivors, with the twist of the mushrooms XD. I think making the drop XP of a different color will improve the gameplay, is kind of hard to notice.

This was a fun game ! I didnt understand it at first but after a while it was very fun haha.

Cool game about a bad trip. It felt like it could use some balancing to make it a bit more addictive, the monsters swarm you a bit too fast. The axe seems overpowered compared to the other weapons.

Very cool colour glitch effect.

When there were a lot of enemies on screen, it felt like the F presses were sometimes not registered, and you just had to mash the key until it ate a mushroom.

That's a nice VS take to be sure, cool that you've got so much done within LD scope. And the fact it's compressed to 3 minutes is pretty good, keeps things packed with content.

At times it felt almost criminally easy, and at some point it's nigh impossible to find the mushroom, but otherwise, good job!

Need some balancing but fun game!

The game felt pretty smooth to play, but it didn't feel that distinct from vampire survivors, would've been nice if it had something more to differ it. I did like the added challenge of keeping an eye out for the mushrooms, it definitely balanced out the powerful weapon upgrades

Honestly I don't know what was happening but it was very fun to just shut my mind off and kill all those massive waves of enemies. Very satisfying!

I may need to retry this game again but in my last play, I had problem finding mushrooms especially with horde of enemies around me. If those mushroom had distinct aura or something, I might be able to find them easily.

It was hard to find mushrooms in time by the end, and the enemies seemed to expand exponentially and would just mob me. The fact that the attacks were automatic was something it took me a while to realize. Overall I found it fun and enjoyed seeking out level ups.

Reminds me of that one time ate ... anyways, this was fun! Either I'll sink another hour in this, or I won't be able to overcome those massive hordes. Maybe I'm just bad at the game, but it was super hard for me. Keep it up!

Well done creating something with a nice tight game loop in such a short time! I dig the Vampire Survivors-esque gameplay with the added time pressure of EAT A MUSHROOM.

The music seems a bit out of place in tone, and I as a colorblind person I had a difficult time seeing where I could pickup more mushrooms.

All in all, I enjoyed it! Well-done!
