Nice retro style pixel art. I think a dash would fit the game pretty well. Also would be good if pickup items dont block your movement if you are at full health e.g.

Really fun game! I wasn't sure what all of the items did and why I couldn't pick some up so some additional instructions there wouldn't hurt. But overall, very enjoyable and quirky!

Wow, this is amazing! The graphics look great and I really like the twist on the theme. It was really fun!

I "beat" this game 2 times.
First time I pressed ESC on floor -1. I though it was pause menu and press continue. Welp, no leaderboard for me.

Second time I reached floor -9. And after death game just buged out and ignors every my mouse input...

Overall this game is just great! I was realy enjoing playing it.

I got to floor 24 but the continue button was borked D:

Loved it. Simple and slick shooter.

I got way too carried away with this game. It's so repetitive, but I couldn't put it down! Eventually I just called it quits at floor -105, but I had to AFK for 7 whole floors for the enemies to churn through my many, many, many kevlar vests. Good work!

Would love to see this fleshed out with more content, boss battles, and a proper ending! And then doing it all over again with different difficulties and challenge modes ;)

One the more unique games in this jam. Graphics are amazing too. Gameplay feels smooth. Very solid entry!

Would love to see more movement options if there is a full game to come, like items that give you dodge and maybe melee. The slow pace keeps on for quite a while at the start (kinda like autoscroller), but otherwise very solid execution of making the control and levels to work together with the theme.

Small but addictive game. The idea with the floors is amazing, a really clever move to use the theme, well done.

I really enjoyed hiding and waiting for the enemies to kill themselves.
And also of you appearing on the floor in the same place where you were on the previous one.

Thanks for sending it to me on stream and also for streaming my game :) I really enjoyed it, despite not being that great at these kind of games! Its very well made and the mechanic of falling down to a new floor every 10 seconds is very cool!

I forgot to mention:

I loved the soundtrack made of FM sound waves. It gave a taste of the 80's arcade.

This game was impressive and fun to play! I liked the upgrades and the mechanic of falling a floor. Art style was nice as well.

Really fun! I always love games with upgrades and the like! My only gripe was escape quit the game.. Twice I pressed escape thinking I could quickly pause the game and it just cancelled on me. My fault for doing it twice haha but I would recommend making that a pause menu that you can quit from. Awesome job though!

Great little 2D shooter, I think on stream I said no notes, and it really is difficult to come up with notes. Maybe a little more reward for shooting the things? I dunno. It really is a good idea with fantastic execution, great job!

I don't think there is more that I can add in terms of feedback, other summed it up pretty well.
The idea is nice and sleek, music and sound effects are cool, graphics especially character designs and the intro cutscene are nice although the floors seem to be very repetetive.
The Difficulty could ramp up more, because at some point I was just tanking hits left and right and passed around 10 floors with just standing in one place and shooting from there.
Other than that nice entry, Cheers!

One of the games I thoroughly enjoyed, this got full marks from me. The only thing I would nitpick on is the contrast on the UI in terms of color palette. I feel it was too similar in terms of saturation, and could stand out better with slightly brighter colors.

Otherwise, nothing more to add, wonderful to play, thanks for making it!

Gosh, this game is sooo coool. I had a good laugh at the intro :) I personally enjoy roguelikes a lot, so your game just hit the right spot. Though I didn't make it very far yet, the gameplay is already very addictive and i also liked the upgrades you can pickup so far, especially the shield. You did a great job!
