You're a worker of a hi-end technology farm that grow foods quickly and rapidly.

The HexMachine produce different weather every 10 seconds, you should plant and harvest correctly during your work time.

Your bOsS needs you to harvest at least one plant each 10 seconds.

Important

* ~~not sure why resolution on web goes wrong (it behaves normally in unity and build). It's recommended to play it in FULL SCREEN MODE.~~ oh yeah I work it out!

* Game Update at Oct. 10: modify bOsS's dialogue to make it less confusing about the rules. Fix resolution auto-adaption issue.

How to play

* use arrow keys to move.
* use QWEASD to plant things while on the field.
* weather influence plant's grow speed (or... destruction speed?). ~~(I didn't find a good way to expain it in game though....).~~
* collect fully grown plants to gain biomass and complete your work.

* created by Karatoga. This is a solo 72h dev project.
* source code available; using Unity 2021.3.6f1c1.
* needs ProtaFramework to build, which is created by myself.
* audio is taken from Minecraft 1.19.2.

Lovely graphics! The cat is very cute, and the guy that's screaming at you sounds just like my boss! (just kiddin :P). I find the concept unique and interesting, but i'm very confused in how the game is intended to be played. So far i've just been running around and planting random crops. I'm not sure how the weather influences the gameplay other than changing the setting. It feels really good with the sound effects, it really helps getting that auditory feedback from the game!

Hello! I really love the concept of this game, however, it doesn't all fit on the screen and some of the game cannot be seen. I think the part of the screen that can't be seen has "your boss" in it so when the game says "your boss will fire you" it doesn't tell you why and that got a bit frustrating. The controls are good and speedy but it doesn't tell you what the correct type of plant is based on the weather during that 10 seconds (that also might be in the bit off-screen) so that was frustrating as well because sometimes it will look like you've 'completed' that weather level but you don't know how. Overall, I think this game has heaps of potential but a more in depth explanation into the basics in what plants go with what weather and how to win would be perfect. Congrats on completing 'Ludem Dare 51'!!

@nion thanks for comments! The webgame resolution issue is now fixed~ (with hundreds of 10s hugging with unity). There should be some tutorial in the game, but I have no more time to develop :pensive:.
By design the "correct type of plant" actually depends on next 1~3 weather, which may destroy or de-grow plants. Thinking how to tell player about that...

Neat concept and cute art! The planting system is a bit confusing for me as well as the time moves so fast there's not much time to learn the mechanics, maybe a chill learning period before going to the timer would help? Web build also worked just fine for me, the window was a bit cropped but when in full screen all was good!

The cat is very cute! The mist did a exactly what was intended, but it's hard to tell what the rest of the weather conditions did, and I also couldn't really tell what the different things you can plant do.

I didn't really understand how to play this game. I couldn't tell if my plants were growing or not. I kept running around mashing the buttons until i got audio feedback.
I liked the graphics.
