Dev Notes
We had an amazing time of learning, ideating, and melding together as a team. We learned a lot, for example: mixing our various skills together to make a unique game style - 2d art with 3d programming - and we think it turned out great! If we had more time, we would change the following...
- Give better indications of where you need to go for certain items
- Include a currency system so that customers pay the shopkeeper
- Add in the watering cannister that the shopkeeper carries around
- Finish adding UI elements for the timer and event counter
- Polishing! More sound balancing, more knickknacks, etc.
All in all, our band of friends had a wonderful 72 hours of creating, designing, and building. Ready for the next one! ... after a nice long slumber.
Change Log
- We pushed minor changes to help with the performance of the WebGL version. Gameplay, art, and bugs are still the same :).Genres: survival

Unlike how some other games have interpreted the theme, your pacing is slower which I like - more comfortable.
I had a hard time keeping up with customer demands due to a little lag, but also that none of the plants' names are never mentioned anywhere -- but the customer refer to them by name! Also given how far apart everything is, and that there are tables in the way, 10 seconds feels on the short side to me (though that could be post-gamejam-day brain speaking).
This game was right up my alley with fantasy plants and cool characters (Greg the frog man). I know you said the descriptions were missing, but part of the fun for me was discovering the names of the plants and what they liked to eat. Now, that definitely kept me from getting a high score, but I felt like it was a fun part of the game to discover on my own what a Saguaron is. Chill gardening & shopkeeping vibes = A+. Great job to the whole team and thank you for sharing :)
Anyway, the art was amazing like others have said, the sound was nice and the game is very well finished. Congratulations!
We *love* hearing the different takes and suggestions - and while we're pretty damn proud of "unbeLeafable", ya'll are too kind lol.
We shuffled a bit on a tutorial - and clearly we've got lots to learn. Hope it wasn't too frustrating, but *personally* I'm super-encouraged some folks enjoyed the trial and error. (to some extent )
