Made for Oculus Quest because that's the platform I've been trying to learn - this is technically the first game I've ever "finished." Sorry for the folks that don't have a headset! If you have your Quest in developer mode, copy it to the device via the Oculus Developer Hub, then go to Apps, click the dropdown at the top right [All (##)] and choose "Unknown Sources," then find Kitty Pounder.
There are two modes: Protect and Pound. The end is nigh for these kitties - it's inevitable. But you can be the problem or the solution, and I'm not going to say which one is the solution.
Protect: keep the kitties from getting pounded by the hammer that falls every 10 seconds. A new kitty is also spawned every 10 seconds, so eventually this is like herding cats. Well... It *is* herding cats.
Pound: the kitties aren't taking the bait (free catnip). You must intervene and place them on the target just in time for them to meet their demise. I'd consider this one easy mode for now, but I'll eventually make multiple kitties spawn so it's hard to kill those disgusting... Er, I mean harder to win the game.
Oh nooo, poor little cats! I almost feel bad for them but they've been voiced so hilariously haha, I absolutely love it! (besides the cat abuse （；´д｀）ゞ) I also like the background music. A silly game, it's funny! Good job. ᓚᘏᗢ
I don't have a Quest, so I'm doing my rating based on what I saw in the videos. Thanks for including them! It looks super fun to throw the cats around and the sound effects are hilarious. I think the protect the kitties mini game looks a bit more fun that the pound the kitties game, but it's awesome that you were able to include both options in such a short timeframe. Looks super cool, sad that I don't get to play it myself.
This is a game for anyone who has been judged by cats. Which is everyone. Diabolical! Like it. The sound effects are very satisfying and the music is pretty quirky too
I was thinking "This can't be what I think it is", then OH MY GOD IT IS. I kinda love it, although I wish I had a headset so I can experience it firsthand. I would play this if I get a cat.
