Watch the night sky on a foreign planet and snap some pictures of constellations or falling meteors.
I was planning on introducing some sort of progression mechanic but wanted to focus on the visuals of things a bit more (even though the meteors are a bit buggy), so its really just an environment to take cool pictures. I'd love to continue this and build it into something where you can capture photos of more complex astrological events (i.e. planets, comets, nebulas) as this was a ton of fun to create.
I would love to see some of the photo's y'all capture, so feel free to share in comments and feedback!
After clicking export the saved images should be available in the following locations:
Windows: %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Night
macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Godot/app_userdata/Night
Linux: ~/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/Night
There are some issues with the web version: meteor particle systems not working and photos not showing up, so I've only listed the downloadable versions here. If you would really like to at least see the base of the game in the browser you can view it here, but be warned core pieces of the game are broken in the web build. I apologize for this and I'm actively working on figuring out whats wrong with the web build.
