1. title screen: wow, cute colours, layout, and title font 2. oh, in the credits: "Art by Midjourney": now, I don’t want to be a rabble-rouser, but actually (and you may have missed it, since the point may not be that visible…), starting from this edition, AI generators for art are unauthorized for Compo format: ‘Please submit games built with AI art generators as Jam or Extra games, not Compo’; I am sure this was on good faith, but I am just wondering how to judge graphics :/ Maybe you can be more specific about how you used Midjourney on the game page?… I do not know, other people may know how to deal with such a case 3. launching *Olivier*; what?! Almost instantaneous defeat! :o 4. trying some more times: often losing in less than a second… Then, not the case, but I still do not get it. 5. Trying the second song *Chacun son Waterloo* (which I think is *À chacun son Waterloo* through a quick Web search! I guess the diacritic on *À* was not recognized by evil Anglo-Saxon software :p): apparently more time at the beginning, but then, I still do not get how to play when black kicks (in in addition to grey)… (By the way, the singer’s way of singing is so reminiscent of Renaud! XD) 6. I guess you may need a QR code analyser (I was wondering if this was merely for visual context or not), which I do not have… X) 7. taking a look at the repository: in README.md: "basical" -> "basic" (the Wiktionary has this to say: ‘non-native speakers' English’ XD *Ils sont méchants avec nous !*) 8. trying to raise ‘beat sensibility’ (which was null/zero by default): grey stays longer (and I lose later :p) 9. lets me hear that the first song is assigned a Quebec accent ;) 10. … and leads me to win XD By the way, the "Home" button seems not to work! 11. looking for an online QR code analyser: asking for a QR code file to upload! :/
All right, I clearly did not get at all how to play. XD This is either a software- (QR code analyser) or user- (my brain XD) related issue; I will try again if someone can explain just the basics. I am sorry, I am almost certain this is a ridiculous blunder on my part! X)
Hey everyone! I just tried playing this QR code game from Ludum Dare, but I have to admit I didn't quite get the hang of it. Maybe it's because I didn't have a QR code analyzer, or maybe my brain just wasn't up to the task! Anyway, on a slightly related note, have any of you tried out OCR and SDK technologies for document management? I recently discovered Smart Engines. I've read that it can recognize text in scanned documents and extract it for later use, which has saved me so much time and hassle. Maybe it can also do something to fix the QR code.
