The God Hermes, running another commission from Zeus, realized that he urgently needed to leave behind a monument that was not made by hand.
But here's the problem! Nowhere is there a suitable wipe. The god of Olympus wouldn't really wipe himself with a plantain!
Hermes looked around and saw that he was not far from the sanctuary of the god of time, the great Chronos.

Hermes decided to borrow some toilet parchment from Chronos. It had just recently been invented. Hermes sneaked into the sanctuary, and under the altar he took a single roll of toilet parchment.
But what Hermes didn't know was that at that moment Chronos himself was busy with a very important business....VERY IMPORTANT BUSINESS.... and he needed the parchment!

Chronos' servants told him about Hermes' trick. Hermes had no sooner stepped ten steps, than he found himself again at the steps of Chronos' sanctuary. Then Hermes stepped a few steps again, and once more found himself at the steps of the sanctuary.

Chronos, in his rage, had trapped Hermes in a time loop! And he still needs to go off on business!
The merciful Athena comes to the rescue of Hermes, who has scattered chests of time around.

Now Hermes needs to get out of the time loop and defeat the asshole...eehh...I mean scoundrel Chronos!
