Maybe some kind of implicit tutorials can help the experience.
E.G. There can be somethng at left of the screen hinting that all enemies goes right to left (I thought enemies will appear all around so planted all the things in the center at first.) There can be some kind of horizontal separators like a road or river, hinting the enemies cannot move vertically。 There can be some info about my weapon (how to use every kind of plant) and my arsenal (how to get the plant I want or just get more plants in the game)

Maybe not a unique idea, but the implementation was really good. The graphics were also cute, and the whole game was balanced. I would prefer to have some information about my crops, as many times I would place weapons without knowing if they shoot projectiles or not
Super nice graphics and very good sound and music! Would be cool to see some instructions when hovering over a plant to know what it does before planting it.
Thank you for your feedback, @greenphox and @elastiskalinjen! I definitely wanted to include some sort of tutorial, but I got caught up with time (you know how it is xD). I'll be sure to focus on the player experience in future projects of mine ^^
These are some great ideas, @xlores-liang! I would have loved to make a boss fight for this project, and if I pick up this project again in the future, I might see how that would pan out :D
Your game is gorgeous! :D it’s simple and effective, though either I’m terrible at it or it’s a bit short, because I was overrun pretty quickly :( I killed only 14 farmers and it felt like less than a minute before the screen was suddenly crowded by so many farmers that I had no hope of surviving at all. But the music and art are top-notch!
The UI was very clean and well designed. The game was simple to understand, but it was also fun to play. The transitions and animations were also very smooth. Nice job!

This is the most eye-catching and ear-wormy presentation of the Compo. Everything is so clean and bubbly and polished in its own way. Top marks.
Killed me some 61 farmers. I would have liked to see some extra spin on the gameplay, but that can be hard in 48 hours (I'm one to talk). Overall I really enjoyed this one.
