Originally made for compo but I didn't manage to upload source code on time.
This is my first ever game jam and I hope you will enjoy.
Fun game! I didn't think of harvesting data for the theme, but it's really clever. The difficulty is really frantic, it might be easier if it ramped up more slowly?
I got 1809GB!! haha I probably did really poorly, but it was fun to play ^^ I found myself hitting almost every button of my keyboard to continue playing.

This is a fun one, and very well done for your first jam game ever! At first I didn't realize you actually had to type the letter combos, but it was really fun and engaging when I got used to it. I like the multiplier system, too. The mixture of repeating keys, combined keys, and subsequent keys is a good variety and keeps things fresh. I also love when your same inputs are solving two windows at once. Very well done, and welcome to Ludum Dare!
The elements of this game fit together pretty nicely! Minimalistic visuals work well and the audio is satisfying. I could maybe use a different sound effect for when you're pressing a button which doesn't do anything on the current screen, just as an additional hint.
I honestly wasn't able to remember and keep track which button combos did what, just spammed everything that appeared on the screen. While I like the single-color aesthetic, maybe having time/gb/etc stats colored differently and then adding the pop-up colors to match them would've emphasized the connection.
Congrats on the first game jam, you managed to make something really fun with a great style to it. Hope you enjoyed it and do more! I managed 12008 on my best. Only thing was I wish I got time to read all the text but I was too busy watching the popups :D Great take on the theme too!

it got more physical than i expected, i got concerned looks from other people present in the room while playing
nice gameplay micro-mechanics, mashing combined with double press keeps you on your toes all the time
sweet minimal graphics and sound effects, the name is very cool as well, has the evil ring to it like OIL BARONS
