I'm sure we're gonna playtest too many farming Simulator games this jam... Have a break and harvest some farming simulator developers and enjoyers!
You play as the Grim Reaper controlling a harvester machine puppet. Harvest as many farming simulator developers and enjoyers you can while avoiding the bombs. And don't let them escape!
A surgeon simulator or QWOP-like physics based game!
Hover the cursor around the screen to control the Grim Reaper's hand direction. Move smoothly to avoid entanglement and position the saw blade of the harvesting machine accordingly.
LMAO what a great concept. The controls are pretty hard to use though, I think it would be better if the hand simply followed the cursor instead of going in the direction the cursor is going, the first time I played the machine and hand disappeared off the screen and I was very confused. The machine also tends to get wrapped up in the hand. The music is pretty great though.
I was very confused at the controls at first too, once I figured it out it was a pretty fun and well made game, nice graphics, good sounds and interesting idea.
The audio was fantastic. The music was great. I enjoyed listening to that :D I think the web version is a bit glitchy as I had to have my cursor at the very very top of my screen outside the window to be able to see it tractor thing but a good funny concept :D
Really strange controls but they were fun once I got used to them. The music and sounds were great. The grim reaper face bouncing around in the background was awesome as well. Nice work.

I couldn't figure out the controls, making this game unplayable for me. Can somebody explain the controls better?
Funny concept, those poor harvest simulator developers! I had an issue where the hand would get caught in the bottom right corner and be really difficult to get out. I think with a bit of tweaking of the mechanics and physics it would be pretty fun
I can't manage the controls. Feels like you are using the mouse like arrow keys? Or there is a bug? The tractor gets twisted up in itself easily then it goes off screen.
Hmmm.. I'm not sure if there's a bug in some browsers. Most likely is my poor mechanics explanation. I'll edit the description, wish I had more tike for a tutorial.

I had a hard time understanding the controls, the tractor kept goin in the bottom right corner and got stuck. Only After 5 tried I was able to somehow control it and score 9 points . The idea, music and art are great, but the controls need a little more polish. Good job!
This game is the kind of challenge that reminds me of Surgeon Simulator or QWOP, usually funny games. I was able to get my score up to 50 but that was my limit. Thanks for this game.
This game is very meta, lol. I can't believe how much time I spent killing Harvest Simulator developers, haha. The graphics are fantastic and the dark humor is really great. Brilliant entry! =)
Fun little game! Was hard to get used to controls: played on web and it looks like it has offset of actual mouse position (or maybe it was made intentionally?). But had some fun! Love the premise too
Nice! Love the concept, though I would've like to see the actual game incorporate the game dev theme a bit more. The controls were pretty bizarre and unpredictable honestly but that was its own interesting challenge in a way. Spawns felt a bit random, seems like my first playthrough had way more bombs early on - otherwise I could definitely feel the difficulty going up over time so it was still pretty fun and challenging. My high score was 71. Nice work!
This was difficult to play all in all. I read through the directions about having to move fast, but even after not moving at all, the reaper's hand, the chains, and the tractor/chainsaw/combine? thing would snap into each other and start flying around the screen.
I tried a couple of times and after I got a small glimmer of hope that I could move the hand with my mouse I noticed that it seems like there might be a constant force pushing the hand up and to the right or that the origin of the Hand scene and the global position of the mouse are offset by a lot.
@pyspher9 Thanks for trying my game and for your extended review on what you phased! Hmmm there's certainly not a constant move, this might be a bug. Did you try the web version and what browser to check it out?
this is a funny meta idea! i really like the style and choice of physics here. I did struggle with the controls a bit though. I feel like the hand was offset depending on the screen resolution. What made it even harder for me, was having to play it with eye tracking. I kept having to look at the centre of the screen while somehow trying to see what was happening in the bottom right corner without being able being able to look there :D
The game itself is really interesting haha, I love the graphics and overall feel but it was CONFUSING to figure out the controls haha. But it's very satisfying to splat the devs, I love it, well done!
hehe fellow harvest theme hater this game is sick! Love the music and the juicyness of hitting a bomb, and I actually think the controls being unusual added a lot of interest and challenge! Well done:)

Aside from that, game looks cool and nice music!

I'll also make a playthrough tutorial.
Thanks everyone for the heads up!
Now for the gameplay: nice physics! definitely demanding while at the same time a clear objective!
A nice jam entry :) good job!
It is a great game.

Sorry, I tried several times!
