Harvest some hay with your sick sickle while avoiding crows.

!!NOTE: the ludum-dare embedded game does not work -- please use the itchio link!!

NOTE: I didnt have too much time this ludum-dare. Made this in ~4hrs, by modding work done by MrWh1t3r.

If I had more time, I would have liked to:
- make an AI to play against
- make the harvest season run for a fixed time
- win/loose if the amount harvested is more/less than the AI

Nice little game - very good for how little time you spent on it.

It would be cool if over time the crows got faster or their was more of them (Perhaps telegraph their attacks to compensate?)

This is awesome for 4hrs, I don't think I could have made such a finished game loop in that time!

I made it to $2,000 and decided I'd had my fun 😁 the art was nice too!

Fun minigame! Quite good for half a day's work, too. I like the sprites and the scythe swing feels good. Future version needs a scarecrow upgrade! :)

For such a short time span this is really nice! At first I was wondering what was going to hurt me haha, but then I saw the crows, it would have been fun to have more crows to avoid. But really well done!

Fun minigame, especially considering the time worked. With the additions you listed along with being able to kill crows ;) this would be a perfectly fine releasable game. Also a little polish and "meat" and you have yourself a perfect simple fun game.

I think you did a good job for the few hours you had. I like the colors and the small details like the flapping of the bird wings and or the 8-way scythe animation. All elements also match the theme very well. Well done!

Just missing a few sound-effects for the complete experience! Well done in such a short time. Did you know there's a game-jam each week that's within 3 hours (out of a weekend)?

The only thing that had me confused in the beginning of crows hurting the farmer, instead of being out for the seeds.

Oh neat! I didn't know about the 3 hr weekend jam! That sounds great! :D I like to schedule time for the ludum dares, however this one kindof snuck up in me and unfortunately I already had camping plans :(

As for the birds attacking the farmer -- I'm currently in Australia 🦘 where the birds are viscous hahaha

There are literally some signs in places about "swooping magpies"
