Heroic Harvest

Dude the music, it's 10/10 just cause of the main sound loop. Sprites, atmosphere, back story, different bullet mechanics etc are just great. Wish I could progress more, I keep dying before getting enough organs, but that's just me and my low reflexes lol. Overall good job man.
Update: Just beat the game after writing the comment lol. I did my moonwalk strat on the enemies :laughing:

This is solid little twin stick shooter. Enemy bullets might fly little weird or disappear too soon I think

Cool art and very nice music. I thought it was a bit too difficult because you lose all of your progress after dying and you can't catch a break - the enemies just keep coming and there is no real time to buy stuff. Also the guy who takes away 3hp felt OP. I like the double use of theme (farmers trying to harvest you and you harvesting organs).

Really liked how intense the gameplay is! We needed a couple of attempts to make it to the boss! Very well rounded product for such a short development time, well done!!
I think it might be worth to experiment more with the during-game purchase mechanic :) Well done!

It's a good game, but the enemy appears so quickly that it's difficult to react and lacks the injury effect.

This played great! Once I got the sniper rifle(?) and was no-scoping all the bad guys, there was no stopping me lol. Everything was clearly communicated and the sound effects complemented the gameplay well.

I played on a typical 1080p monitor and had large yellow images on the sides of the screen, really narrowing my field of view. Was that intentional difficulty or a bug?

An excellent first crack, although I'm unsure why it's formatted in portrait on a 16:9 screen. Lack of awareness kind of artifically increases the difficulty.

A very innovative game, very interesting ideas. The music and graphics are great, although the enemies come out too fast and the screen is a little small so I die quickly, but still very fun.

A really cool game! Love the audio and the concept! Kind of reminds of hotline miami. Hope it could be juicier.
