HONEY HARVEST

You are a bee, so you must harvest as much nectar as possible, and quick! But be economical about flying, as flapping your wings consumes the very nectar that you want to deliver to the hive! Choose your route wisely to make it in time. If you are quick enough, maybe you can make it on the global leaderboard?

TIPS

* It really makes sense to think about the best route. You don't need to pick up all the flowers, often it's enough to pick up half of them or less.
* If you mess up your run, just hit backspace to quickly restart (Hit enter to confirm the level start dialog)
* It is intended that you will need several tries. The idea is that you have to figure out which flowers you have to harvest, and in which order.

You have a great game here. I would love to play a full version. I think all of the mechanics come together well to make a good puzzle game. I would like to hear some bee themed music!

Interesting take on the harvesting theme, it picks up in difficulty very fast which I felt was unnecessary, I think a 3 star rating system would fit better in this type of game.

Ludum Dare embedded didn't work, but the link you provided just did fine. Nice idea and easy but fun gameplay!

Definitely a solid platformer game, and there were a good amount of hidden mechanics like more nectar weighing down your bee. I think the difficulty curve and the UI could use a little more polish.

Really interesting game mechanics here; very much enjoy the challenge that comes from using your nectar to fly, and not being able to fly so well when you've got a lot of nectar. Very well thought out! Not so sure about the sound effects; the bee flap noise sounds like a wet quack, but it does keep me chuckling so thumbs up :rofl:

I like the fly mechanic & sound and the puzzle aspect once I got to the 2nd level. The slurp sound is fun. A few things:

* I wish the 2nd level wasn't so hard, and I could do more levels. I can't figure out how to get through that maze in the time frame given
* When I do side platform games I like to make it so that if I'm holding right and I press left while holding right, it stops running right and starts running left. Where it listens to whatever was pressed last. It's the proper way to do left/right movement and you'll see it in the most popular platform games out there. This would make it a little easier to navigate through the maze and get under nooks and crannies in your games.

Overall, good job, it's a good game!

Really addictive, kinda like flappy bird but better, i really liked the risk vs reward aspect, found sound annoying but it really worked with the game becuase it was annoyingly addictive and fun.

Such a hard game! I didn't manage to finish it because it was really hard. Nectar count felt a bit confusing imo. Overall nice entry and good take on the theme!

Cool game! I think it's hard to know how much you consume nectar when flapping. I found myself just testing several routes instead of really thinking ahead to find the best one.
Tight controls, clear graphics, everything works really fine!
