#### Story

That stupid Prince Ugo!
He's trying to wake up the Princess after you
finally trapped her in the mystic blue sphere!

Don't panic! De-Evil-ery is the company that can support you in your fights!
Destroy the mecha-birds sent by Prince Ugo to wake up the Princess,
and gain evilness points to buy new weapons!

Be Careful though! If the true love meter fills up... IT'S GAME OVER!!!

#### How To Play

You have to defeat the mecha-birds before they reach the Princess!

Press the middle finger button to grab the weapons and to squeeze the hearts
Use the index finger button to use them

If you defeat the mecha-birds you will obtain evilness points,
and you can use them to buy new weapons by squeezing the hearts
The weapons will be delivered to you after some seconds

Only the apple weapon has infinite ammos!

The game can only be played in VR, but you can still have a look around with WASD

Triple press the index finger button to skip the intro
Double press the left thumbstick to switch between smooth and teleport movement

Sadly, we didn't manage to add any sound
nor to balance the game during the jam,
but at least we managed to implement the main features.

@pipo Just wanted to let you know, I don't know if this is a problem on my end or what but it doesn't let me load into the actual game, when I click to play the game it just shows Wonderland Engine and freezes at that, is there a certain thing I have to do to start the game?

@congeesetador the game is VR only! On the ludum dare page it seems to not work so I advice u to go see it on itch.io You can’t actually play it properly but u can have a look around with WASD anyway

@theartifacts I know, but I’m also proud to be one of the few WebVR entries

I don't have the VR headset, but I decided to take a peek at what I could play anyway, so I'll rate you guys only in graphcis and mood. I found art style really appealing and the premise sounds interesting. I wish I could've played this ;-;

The aesthetics are on-point. Fun to play, though I had some trouble with my VR setup for it. It was just kinda glitchy, no big deal, especially given it's a jam game.

The visuals and mood of the game seem good but i don't have a VR set so I couldn't actually play the game.

I really like that you tied the game's lose condition into a world element instead of just a HUD element - thats fantastic design thinking.

I also like that you moved the spawners around the level to give a bit of life "oh now they are coming from over there"

I was finally able to play this in VR. I wish the controls had an instruction slide in-game along with the overall instructions as I didn't realize you could change to teleport movement until after. I don't think there was really any reason to upgrade weapons as spamming your first one takes care of anything, and trying to purchase and retrieve a new weapon is almost guaranteed to let something in. I also didn't entirely understand which way the book was aiming until I had used up all its ammo. The 3d models all looked pretty great though and all the interactables in the game worked fine, which is unfortunately not common in jam VR games. Overall it was a really solid VR game, and I'm glad I came back for it!

@wiredoverload thank you for taking the time to try this in VR!
The teleport tip for now is just on the description page, not sure how to add that info in the game without making it too "immersion breaking" let's say.

As you say, the game is very unbalanced, sadly we didn't have time for that, the book and the skull are actually meant to do something else, I just gave them the same power as the apple one, just bigger bullets ahah

interesting idea to make a vr game. I think having it be vr ONLY really limits who is able to actually play/review the game, which is a shame due to the amount of work put in.

It's nice to see not only regular games at the jam but also VR ones. I enjoyed the gameplay, it was entertaining. The graphics and visual style are very appealing. It's unfortunate that the game doesn't have any sound.
