Short and Sweet

Post apocalyptic game with zombies. Your function in this world is to be the middle man in trades between safe stations. Get a request near one of the safe houses and get your reward when you deliver the package.

How to Player

When you start find one of the safehouses nearby. On Interaction it opens a menu:

'New Task' if you don't have any tasks assigned yet or simply because you don't want to do the current one. A new task will be assigned to you, it will tell you where to deliver, and what to deliver. (If you press it when you have a task assigned FROM that safe house, it will be marked as failed)

'Deliver': if you have on you items that are to be delivered or can be delivered at the current safe house, they will be automatically removed from your inventory, and the task will update. When the list of required items for a task is empty the task is completed.

'Cancel': If you want to exit the trade screen.

Tasks are assigned FROM one specific safe house and it will lead TO another safe house where you deliver the items.

Throughout the world there's not only more items but enemies as well.

#Other mechanics

You can only shoot when aiming first. There's a cooldown.

Scanner will not only show nearby enemies, but items and other stuff as well. You get slower when you have the scanner.

The ammo comes from your inventory, so be careful not to spend ammo you were supposed to deliver.

End Game

The game ends when you die, if you deliver everything, or don't have more tasks the game is done. [I probably won't be able to add a end game check for that. Writing this as I'm still working on the game]

I think that's all...

Look back at the Jam

Overall was a very stressful weekend, I don't feel like the final result (the game) ended well. The game is far from the goal. I went for a most of a survival horror game. But in the end, with this project in Unity I got familiar with the engine. If I decide to take another shot at this project it will probably turn out much better.

The Green Beans are supposed to be the zombies.

The little blobs on the ground are images, there's UI that shows what they are before they are picked up. Sorry.
