Delivering realness: The human simulator

I didn't play the game but the graphics are disturbing.
Edit: I actually played the game and laughed so much, I really recommend it!
A great human experience.

I really liked the concept of controlling the different parts through these buttons. Just wish there was more time each round.

Abit random, but who cares, creativity goes far.
The sounds are abit loud and not too pleasant, but I like the overall concept of the game ^^

Loved the idea, the concept is beauuuuutifulll. Very smart and with a good humor. Pretend, put a mask and deliver whatever society is expecting form you! Sick :)
However, I found it very difficult to control the small pawn, especially when the time limit starts, it seems impossible to make any face in time at this game. Probably a regular mouse click on the buttons would work better, it will focus on actually delivering the face and not trying to jump from one platform to another. Also one of the sounds was very loud and scared my cat :(

And yeah, it is almost impossible to make something that makes sense in this time frame - that was on brand with the "true events". Saying that, I like your idea, so maybe we will make a player friendly and more "fun" version after the jam :)

Absolutely bizarre. Defies definition and criticism, I love it. Absurdism is fun at the best of times and the tone is on point.

Really I think it just needs more polish, audio was a bit jank and while I don't mind uncomfortable sounds when done right, a lot of the issues were more like volume balancing or repetitive sounds playing over eachother.

Player movement was a bit unsmooth and could use work, and it was extremely unclear how the gameplay worked (if indeed my actions had any effect at all)

Overall I love what this game is doing, it's funny, it's weird, it's grotesque and it's great, but the actual implementation of a lot of the less bizarre side hurts the experience a little bit.

Definitely a unique experience but enjoyable. I like trying new things, so this was certainly something new. I'm intrigued by the art, and how this basically has us play as an awkward character trying to land a date. It Be like that sometimes! lol. I got the date tho!

Such a wild ride. I love the feeling of seeing my score even when I'm not sure if it'll rate well, always a hilarious response. Audio is super fun and sickening.. perfect.

It made me a little uncomfy, but I think that was intended. Oh man. The humanity.

Uhh, It had nothing to do with the theme but I guess it was unsettling. What did I just play?

@exilon its about *delivering* a speech! Also we deliver creepiness, unsettling feelings and mental damage from audio. Still, mostly about delivering a speech :)

In all seriousness though, it's such a sweet message, the gameplay is inventive, and the disturbing presentation is pretty hilarious :) I had fun playing through twice to try to max out my human-ness, to fairly limited success. I love how all the changes you make animate in linear time after the level is complete. Great job, you two!

That was quite strange. I think there's a cool idea in there where you are trying to make a "mostly human" face and it's sort-of a matter of opinion. One issue I had was getting stuck at the bottom, not sure if that's intended. Kind of feels like a creepy version of a character customizer at the start of an RPG. Not really my cup of tea, but very different.

Such an odd game, with so many unique features... I love it. Definitely had issues with the WebGL version so I downloaded the standalone and that indeed fix the performance.
