henry's Adventure!

I'm really sorry but I just don't know what's going on here. All I'm told is to "explore the ruins" but what does that even mean. I found a couple of lights that change colour when I interact - no clue what they are supposed to do. And that's not even including the handful of times that I had to reboot because I fell through the world or got stuck in a hole with invisible walls or my screen goes black and I can't see.

I like the art style, sort of blocky jungle environment, but there's some kind of smeary filter and motion blur ruining it. I personally struggled with the inverted vertical camera controls so would have appreciated a way to change that. Something strange was up with the lighting, not sure if intentional but it felt super weird to play.

Really hope this doesn't come across as me trashing the game. I genuinely did try to figure out what was going on but I just couldn't. I think a lot more focus could have gone into guiding the player around to make a more simple and cohesive experience. I hope you can use what you learned this jam to make something amazing next time as it's clear you have the talent and inspiration!

I get about 1 fps. Probably because it's full screen on a 4k monitor. Sorry, but I wasn't able to make any progress in it.
