Really fun, graphics were nice as well. Only issue was the player felt very slippery, very polished.

Very cute fun game! I love the art style and the gameplay of flying around the map is super fun and chill, especially with the music. I also love the lose animation, so fun!

Very cute and fun game! I LOVE the artstyle, especially the blue potion cottage on the top left of the map. The flight momentum felt right, just floaty enough to be somewhat challenging but satisfying once you've got it down. The only thing I would change would just be the audio balancing - the pickup/system sounds feel a little too loud compared to the background music. Overall, great job!

Nice game! Got to the end screen. Noticed a bug where if you switched from left to right real quick, you'd stay going left instead of switching direction. Other than that was a solid entry!

The art style is adorable, I love it. The flying felt great, though there was one moment where I really flew off kilter and it was wonky... but in kind of a good way?! Maybe there's something to that very-rare-janky behavior being intentionally implemented.

Well now this was adorable. Even with a lil "jank", the flying was fun and the lil town is cute! I want to see more of this lil witches adventure. :smile:

It is a great game with a great art, but with more type of level would be great.

I liked it (finished it, too), it's a neat little game for a jam! I was kind of worried at first because the controls weren't written down anywhere, but there's an ingame tutorial that explains them and it was intuitive to figure everything out.

A few details that come to mind:
- The scroll speed of the text was rather slow imo, so it would've been nice to allow the player to uncover the text by pressing space before it's finished displaying.
- The waving of the text is cute, but it made it slightly harder to read. Not a problem for a game jam, but something that should be considered for larger works.
- It felt as though sometimes my directional input didn't cause the movement direction to change. Not because of the inertia but rather as if my input didn't register. Not 100% sure on this one though.

The music is so fitting and SO beautiful! It's a really simple idea for a game and it works so well!

Movement feels a bit junky. It seems that if you want to fly in the opposite direction it is easier to stop first and then go in the other direction, rather then pressing buttons for the opposite direction right away (for some reasons you will continue to go in the initial direction). But other than that, nice and simple game. Good job!

Nice little game :) It felt very cute and obviously has a lot of polish going into it. My main issue would be the UI, maybe it's my jam-exhausted brain, but the buy/sell UI was kind of hard for me to understand for me at first. I think it would've helped to use something more telling than red stars / green stars. The sound was great, too!

Very cute visuals and a cute song to accompany! Excellent way to present the tutorial also.

I did a second run just to check the game over, nice pictures on the player defeat event. My only gripe with the game was that there seemed to be some heavy drag when moving to the right. I had to hold left for a long time until the broom started to turn. Made it slightly more challenging but it felt wonky.

Extremely cute and very polished, and a satisfying and game loop. Controls have a bit of a learning curve, but I think they are fairly well executed.

Just add more content (Potions, Cities, etc) and you'll have a nice commercial game on your hands!

Many witches commented below, About how the movement was janky and slow, Until now! The update has come to their aid, And now every broomstick glides like a blade.

if you wish for smoother movement, download and use v-0.0.6 otherwise, if you prefer the ‘classic’ janky way, download the LD version and let us know!

This game is so sweet! The flying tripped me up initially but it ended up being really fun wheeling around like that. The art is wonderful and it's just a very sweet and interesting take on the theme.

Awww I love this! The lil red witch herself is very cute and the game reads like a nursery rhyme. On top of being absolutely adorable, I found the movement very interesting. Sometimes it's a little tricky to just turn around, but I think that's fitting to the character arc in the story, and the design doesn't punish you all that much for delays so there's some good nuance there.
