Rogue Box

Quite fun game. I think for mobile will be cool. But In my opinion quite easy and becauce of that I fastly bored. I think you could make map bigger and then maybe more types of enemies and then maybe will be more good. Graphic part is awesome I really love how that done

Brings a whole new meaning to "hostile work environment". I liked the movement, it felt really goofy and slippery but not frustrating at all. I think the humor is right on the cusp of being hilarious. Difficulty could probably ramp up faster.

Great clean aesthetic. I appreciate how the viewable area is nice and large so you can see when penguins are coming and it doesn't feel unfair (barring when penguins hide behind the shelves). The movement is great. It honestly feels like I'm a lumpy box chaotically rolling around.

Thanks a lot, now I'll have penguins in my nightmares! :) Seriously though, great game, easy but somehow still rewarding. I actually somehow missed all the duration-ups at the beginning and just barely scrounged by grabbing one and that felt really good!

Great idea, great implimentation! I loved slamming the shelves to change momentum and side-step the penguins. Graphics were clean and readable, light from the headlights was a nice touch and bumping boxes causing bounces was very appealing and played to the strengths of the physics mechanic. Would love some more time spent on sound and music but the sounds are base-serviceable, especially the tape sound. Got 7000pts second run 🥈

Loved the cartoonish vibe (box VFX + penguins), controls have the right amount of difficulty, I feel like there is a lot of work on the "character" (box) rolls, so good job for that! :wink:

This was amazing and super well done especially since its a compo entry! Its a shame you don't have more ratings super cute art style very clear objectives and it made me want to play over and over until I got to my goal of 10000 which I was able to go all the way till 12000 I think!

The penguin is adorable, and the overall graphical coherence is wonderful. Also, the sensation of rolling the cardboard box around feels good just by touching it. It was a simple yet deeply strategic and enjoyable game :)

Honestly it's a top tier! Graphics are simple but at the same time very stylish good looking. Gameloop is addictive and fun, controls are great with drifting and trying to evade penguins. Speaking of penguins - adorable models and great idea! Also love small details like small penguin figurines lying around and bumping into racks where boxes are jumping! Very impressive especially for a compo entry :smile:

@dender46 I wonder if you found all of the mini-penguins and an another rogue box sitting where it should not be. How many have you found? :D

The game is a bit laggy on my computer but i succeed to play. The graphics are really cool, nice job!

Once you get enough of them nasty birds following you, it seems like it gets a lot easier. I think I could have gone much longer if I'd kept on it. The controls were just the right amount of wacky without feeling unresponsive. Simple and neat!

Nice work! I enjoyed the take on the theme and the animations of the box, especially what happens when you run out of durability. The fact that the warehouse workers were inexplicably penguins was also a nice touch. Well done!

Nice little game! Running away box is interesting idea, controls a bit hard with box acceleration, i think.

I really liked juicy box effect, and shelves collision effect, so pleasant to just bump into them, and other boxes jump up xD
