Click on a planet to examine it, whilst in the planet menu you can click "set destination" and let your autopilot navigate to the planet. Whilst there, pick your contract carefully, you can only have one at a time. You will be paid in fuel upon delivery. If you run out of fuel you will lose the game. Make as many delieveries as you can.
You can right click to rotate the camera around the ship and zoom with the mouse wheel. Use the time controls to speed or slow the orbit of planet, you don't use fuel whilst at a planet and the orbit can take you closer to your destination.
