Twisted Pedal

This is a fav so far! The bike mechanic is pretty satisfying. I feel like you could expand this out to a bike themed vampire survivors-like haha

Really enjoyed the controls and the progression. I think you could do a lot with this foundation. Now I want pizza..

This was a neat game. It was a lot of fun to get into and play, and squishing the tomatoes was so satisfying. The squishing audio and announcer added to the vibe, and the simple start with just over the top graphics and upgrades was so good. Having a bike with spikes and an afterburner was just so wild in the best way.

The mashing of the two keys for pedaling was a really novel touch, and I liked it at first but it got sore quick. Maybe if you did it to accelerate rather than constantly my fingers wouldn't burn out so quick? I think as well maybe if the turning circle was a bit smaller that might be good, often I would see an obstacle and not be able to react in time.

Overall though this was really novel and interesting, I had some fun!

Very neat game! I liked the additions of features on your bike as your make deliveries.
I thought angry tomatoes were the ones moving at first, but they're all moving haha!
I sometimes get hit while I don't feel like I did, but overall, the controls and the gameplay loop are fun! Would recommend.
For you next jam, consider looking into assigning key codes instead of letters for all of those who aren't using a QWERTY keyboard!

The game rules are addictive. The fact that you have to keep pressing button to progress makes it extremely fun. Additionally, the sound effects add a nice touch. :)

I did it, I managed to get all the upgrades, I became a machine bent on tomato destruction.

But yeah, the fully upgraded bike feels awesome, just racing through the sea of tomatoes in the middle and squashing them feels awesome. I loved the randomization of the power ups, that made every run of the game unique. Also regarding the game loop, I felt it had a good arcade feel to it where you immediately want to jump in again once you've finished the round. The sound effects when squishing the tomatoes are fun, that also makes it satisfying to squash them.
Very fun game, I had a good time playing it. Great job!
