Uber Driver

I've noticed if you go forwards and then go back, the car breaks and then stays still.
However, was fun! Was unsure at first how to pick up people but I just had to wait some time in place. Wish the crashing/driving against buildings wasn't as sticky, but was cool to drive around the city with a gps. Good job!

@pedrohpf, that the intent as you have to stop to pick up and drop of the customers! did it feel unnatural? what was your thought process in that moment?

The steering was a bit cumbersome. Either because the rotation point would have been better on the demand axles or drifting (which was probably too time-consuming in the short time). The reverse gear would also have been more dynamic if you could reverse instantaneously. I think the level design is well done, you can see that you put a lot of work into it. I think the concept with the pick-up is good and the delay makes sense because the passengers need a while to get in and out. A goal would have been nice. For example, reach $10,000 or something similar. I think the game is more than successful for the short time.

@whywhy sometimes i needed to go back and it felt unnatural to have to double press S (once to break and then another time fully stopped).

Cool game! Very fun, like the driving and gameplay loop

Not really innovative, but a fun little game! I agree with most of what @rakowu said above. I especially missed some more challenges, quests or achievements, other than just driving from A to B:
- Earn X amount of money.
- Complete X missions without a single crash
- Arrive at the petrol station with less than 5% fuel left
... and so on.

Definitely a fun game. I thought driving the car around and causing chaos was quite enjoyable. I noticed that you couldn't pick up/drop off someone if the car wasn't all the way inside the pick up/drop off zone. I would have liked if it also didn't require a button press to pick up or drop off a passenger, and some way to know my star rating for the ride as it's ongoing. Otherwise this was a really fun game. Nice work!

Very cool entry, love the driving feeling handles quite well and feels natural, but I would probably made the turn radius for the car a bit smaller, feels like you need quite a bit of space for U-Turns. Loved the art too, simple but effective!

Really enjoyed driving around in the space. The synth music flowed well with the experience. I tried running over the customer out of my sick curious mind XD No wonder there's no safety regulation on these futuristic roads. :)

Wish that reverse was quicker to respond, but the cruise control style acceleration was a nice way to handle the speed.

Great game, loved the city environment and driving mechanics! Adding some objectives or challenges would add replayability and make the game even more enjoyable.

Omg i though i am a good driver! Loved the game, the GTA-feeling of a mess, even the art of the person you are picking up!

Would love some development to this, especially where to spend money that you earn (upgrades, insurance, accidents) to create more stress, because the rampage is fun but unpunished now )

Good game, reminded me of the first parts of GTA. It would be nice to have more controllable cornering at slower speeds. However, in any case - you have a good approach with cruise control, it's really convenient.

The car was fun to drive. It was nice and fast. I can go slowly when I need to. The car turns well.

I like that the car can crash over and over. It's also nice that the cars that you crash into just go away and let you keep going. Nice traffic simulation in general.

The phone was too much of a crutch. I found myself just looking at it while driving, since I could see everything in one place.

Nice game it feels like a good base to build on, like add different cars or upgrades.
The music matched well with the game.

It was pretty neat! Most of the issues I had with it have already been more than addressed in other comments, such as the odd reversing behavior, but it's pretty fun! It's actually similar to what I did for my entry which is interesting to see.

so it took me a while to figure out how to get the guest to enter would have been nice if you had done it like crazy taxi but it turned out very well i celebrate it mega badly

Driving inputs were very good could use some slight tweaks to keep you from scraping the walls constantly. Love that you added traffic patterns very nice. If the passengers had some dialogue it would really add to the engagement and humor. They could make comments about your driving from the back seat! Very good job!
