You are a skateboarder who has been summoned to make an appearance at court before noon and pay a fine for the crime of skateboarding. Except you don’t have any money and noon is only 2 minutes away! Skateboard around the city gathering as much loose change as you can find and make it to the courthouse in time. Just don’t get caught by the cops!

X - Get on and off your board
C - Drop a doughnut to distract the cops chasing you

How to Play
Ride around on your skateboard (you can get on and off the board whenever you want by tapping the X key) and collect as many dollar bills floating around as possible before the time runs out. Be aware that you still need to get back to the courthouse on the map once you have enough money to pay off the fine.
The cops will chase you if they see you riding around on a skateboard, and if they catch you, it's game over! You can drop a doughnut (using the C key) when the cops are chasing you and they'll be distracted, or you can put your riding skills to the test and get out of their sight! Alternatively you could always walk around town and the cops won't hassle you, but where's the fun in that?

This was my first time doing Lumum Dare alone. All of the art and most of the code was written from scratch for this event. I did not have time to produce any music or sound effects during the event as I had to work all day on Monday and so didn't get the full 72-hours.
