Welcome to bell, hivers!

PLAY ON ITCH.

Your mission is to eradicate the overflowing bee population.

Destroy their hives using your bell grenade and descend until they are wiped out.

The models were created by me using blockbench.

All code was written by me.

Some audio sounds were generated using bfxr and a few audio assets were found in public domain searches.

NOTE: it can lag a bit in the begginning when running the HTML5 version, but it will even out once it's been running for a bit.

I love the physics of bees after they were dead, but some times it make the scene a bit of messy. But it is fun to play.

Fun game. So many bee parts, who are going to pick those up? Got some pretty intense lag spikes when I first shot the gun and threw the bell grenade but after that it was smooth :smile:

It's cool you managed to make an FPS in this timespan. It was pretty fun shooting the hordes of bees, but at times I felt like it would have been cool to have a non-hitscan weapon or something with more limitations to play around.

Doom with bugs. I like that every thing breaks. It would have been better if there is an environment. I am not sure when I am getting attacked. I a health bar would have been nice. Summoning the bell is nice. After a point i don't get the feeling that I am progressing though. May be because of same kind of bees.

I had a blast with the bee-themed ideas, especially the bell grenade. It was a lot of fun tossing them around! And I must say, the time you put into the bee explosion animation really paid off. Great job!

The game looks simple, but it's fun, you can kill some time with it. the game looks like it was made by a bear ha ha :)

FPS game nicely implemented. Quake-like mechanics and I could spend a decent amount of time on it, trying to get a higher score.

Feedback for if you desire to continue development would be:
- Make it easier to see when bee's have died - I found myself shooting bees that were already dead because they could look quite similar

I know the name of the game is Bellhiver but I was not prepared for the giant bell falling out of the sky lmao. The grenade throw was a bit janky, it didn't seem to go any farther.

Pretty fun time playing for a bit. I love the giant falling bell and the fact that you can be crushed by said bell.

Wish the bees didn't spawn so sporadically around the hive as they can sometimes spawn unfortunately right near you, but I did enjoy shooting them into literal pieces

Loved the mechanics and was great bee-ing (pun intended) able to watch the bees explode.
Would have loved some music, and a bit more polish but great work!
