Play as Peligator, the pelican-duck-alligator-Frankenstein's monster thing, as he wields the Ghost Pole, a fishing pole that can summon the ghosts of all the fish that were ever caught with it to use as projectiles. Play through ONE level and listen to the amazing sounds of COMPLETE SILENCE as you immerse yourself in this incredible 2d platformer video gaming experience!!!! Woohooooo...
My decision to participate in this Ludum Dare was a last-minute one. I had only just found out this was happening the day it started! So needless to say, I was unprepared and out of my element. And my game shows it, being so barebones and all. But despite that, I'm still proud that I actually finished something. This was a new experience for me, and so sticking with it to the end is good enough for me, no matter the quality.
I enjoyed doing this but it was also very nerve-wracking at the same time. I pulled an all-nighter trying to finish it, and I started feeling dizzy at a certain point. I still feel dizzy right now I better get some sleep hoohoohoo!
Also I know my game is really reaching in terms of the theme, if I ever turn this into a full-fledged game it would make a whole lot more sense. But that's another story for another day....................
