Demon bowel trouble

This was fun to play, each game the demon was summoned to was a fun reference. The graphics are good!

I didn't have any audio and couldn't figure out if there was supposed to be any or not.

@drpepperisgood Glad you liked it. There's no audio in the game. I only now just realised that I opted out of every ranking except audio, lmao, I was too tired and got the toggles backwards. Fixed that now.

The art is so good! and what a funny premise, let alone all the references.

The fact that you put this together in a shorter time frame than the actual jam is really impressive, what a cool idea. The gameplay is super simple obviously, but you've wrapped it in such a cool little package that it totally works. The timer probably could be quite a bit shorter though.

I have to ask, I don't watch jojo but I know a bunch of people that do, was that 2nd scene a jojos reference?

I love this game.It's really original and the themes are respect.

@magnusfurcifer haha. Yeah, that's clearly a jojo reference. My original idea was to have constant voice lines of jojo and dio screaming about power levels, and Kaiba complaining about Yugi cheating and ignoring his trap cards and stuff.

Yup, the timer seems to be a tad too long, I didn't even have time to test the game over screens! haha

Such a funny concept, really nice twist on the minigame style. Nice work!

Hey, I actually went for a canon ending where demon pooped themself. :D

I found it funny that the time is displayed like it's not 5 mins but rather 5 hours.
Or maybe the demon's time resolution is just that great, every microsecond counts.

Awesome game! I LOVED the graphics & animations here, they were amazing! The cutscenes were so goofy too! I don't really know YuGiOh or JoJo, but still laughed at the references - this concept was great. I don't really have much to add - as others have said, the lack of audio is a tad disappointing, but very understandable. Overall, this was just awesome!

Well... I didn't shit myself. I hope. I'm talking about real life now. Also the game. Cool art, funny stuff, needs funny audio to make it really land. Is the order of summons pre determined? Seems like the first one should be he final one.

@sonnybone it is! You can tell how I was running out of time as I kept cuting features out, haha. The second one was supposed to be a small fighting game, and the third one would have been a full on pokemon fight

Yeah... been there. I was so low on time once I cut out the main mechanic. Cool take on the theme, though... trying to do something 'normal' but you keep getting summoned to do demon stuff. XD

How many hours did you have to make this? Its quite short, but I like the idea.

@wolfier I drew everything overnight. Then I had like 7 hs to code the game.

Brilliant! Loved the idea and references. The Yu-Gi-Oh minigame was a bit hard for me, and the character seem to be stuck at times.

This was really funny, and the graphics were really good! I liked the different styles you drew the demon in and the lighting/shading in all the sprites is really nice. I think sound would take this to the next level, voice acting for the lines in the yugioh minigame could be super funny :smile:
