Destruction Upon The Town!
ABOUT THE GAME
Made for Ludum Dare 55, that went on during the weekend of April 12th of 2024, with the theme of Summoning.
Play as a mischievous, evil wizard who is using their crystal ball to spy on an unsuspecting, and innocent, town. Summon evil creatures to attack the town and destroy their newly built property that took a REALLY LONG time to build.

SOME OF THE LITTLE GUYS
Imps | a small goblin-like demon
Sprite | a very small fire sprite that moves around very quickly and is very fragile
these were originally only going to set buildings on fire, but the idea was scrapped for time
Hellhounds | fire dog
Goblins | small child-sized creature that is notorious for stealing stuff
Shadow Imps | dark, transparent, teleporting imps
these were originally planned to only appear at night on higher levels, but were changed due to gameplay changes
Hobgoblins | bigger imps that are in charge of regular imps

It is a very unusual and atmospheric game, the visual is quite interesting, it looks stylish and funny! Good luck with your project, I would have played it more than once!!!

Ravaging a small town with imps and goblins is pretty fun, turns out. I like the little voice sounds the guys have, they are very pleasant to listen to. After the first level I figured I could keep killing the unarmed ones for mana and it became almost a little too easy, but overall a very pleasant and fun experience!

I really enjoyed this game. Great sound effects and art. My only complaint is it felt a bit too easy.

That was fun. I think there is a bit of strategy to it, and a timing in the last level in getting your dudes to survive long enough to do damage, not get killed, and keep a small crowd of your own alive. Sfx are also nice.

This game is a unique experience with stylish visuals and pleasant sound effects. The satisfying screams of the characters and the fun of ravaging a town with imps and goblins. It made me laugh several times! Gives me old flash game vibes
The game is very easy and maybe increasing the difficulty or adding more strategic elements to enhance the gameplay could make it very fun!

All-in-all a fun experience. The thing keeping it from being too fun is the lack of strategy. Under normal circumstances mana would have improved strategy, and it does, but it does so at the cost of fun.
I think it would be better if the game was a "Mow down thousands of enemies with a single click" sort of a thing.
Still pretty good though :)
