Are you tired of the mundane, the ordinary, the utterly vanilla existence? Do you yearn for a dash of danger, a pinch of peril, and a sprinkle of sorcery in your life? Look no further, for great warlock Grishnek is here to spice up your daily routine!
Picture this: a dark, ominous castle perched atop a mountain peak, lightning crackling in the sky, and the faint scent of brimstone in the air. That's where you'll find Grishnek, brewing his nefarious plans and conjuring unspeakable horrors from the depths of the abyss.
But wait, there's more! Grishnek needs YOU to assist in the summoning of an evil entity so malevolent, it makes your mother-in-law look like a fluffy bunny. Yes, YOU! Whether you're a seasoned sorcerer or just a humble peasant with a knack for trouble, your skills are needed to bring forth this wicked being and wreak havoc upon the land.
Combine tapping the correct runes to the rhythm and drawing the correct glyphs in a shortish window to succeed.

Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to try to fix that "cheat" :( We had already spent lots of hours to try and make the system work, for the sake of fairness, we hope people will still try to trace the symbols ;)
Congrats on getting to wave 16 though, that's impressive :D

This is great! Though my post-jam reactions may be somewhat lacking (it got tough to draw at around wave 5 :D)! Really like the animations and the music SLAPS! Bravo

No notes! The mechanics are tight, the difficulty ramp is intense, and the music is one my favs so far. Amazing!

and gameplay it's really fun (but it may be harder for touchpad users, if you are planning to make postjam you can make penup-pendown button I think)

The drawing gameplay was hard to implement I guess, so kudos for that!
Maybe some more articulated sounds for the success/failure would be nice.
I didn't had time to enjoy the graphics because of the gameplay in the middle.

Tough game once it gets going, but really fun! I kept messing up the spiral glyphs, but I managed to get a decent score :)

Pretty fun game, I enjoyed the DDR / Guitar Hero type gameplay combined with drawing the glyphs. Pixel art was cute. A solid entry!

This was a great entry! I had a lot of fun, and the combo between buttons and drawing was nice. Sometimes the drawings were a little unforgiving :sweat_smile: Keep on making games!

Truly a well-executed rhythm game! You've utilized the theme in an original way and didn't just make another tower defense game with summonings! Very well done.

Games like this are oftentimes my greatest struggle because I'm bad with rhythm, multitasking, and precision. The ultimate combo! Thankfully, it wasn't that hard after just a little bit of practice, and the spoooookeh music really helped get in the mood :3

DDR but with demons, the combination of drawing and buttons was very challenging ! :v:
I did find out that just putting any small line inside the glyph shapes counts as a success, you do not need to draw the whole shape. This made the game a lot easier, but it felt like cheating :smirk:.
I made it to wave 16 that way. does the game have a final wave or is it endless?
